To use this feature, you need to install and activate the Mailing with Klaviyo app from the Feature Apps section of the Product Auction App.
How to Activate Sending Mails with the Klaviyo Feature
To enable the Mailing with Klaviyo feature:
- Open the Product Auction App.

- Go to the Feature Apps section.

- Find the Mailing with Klaviyo app.

- Activate the app to start using the Klaviyo integration.
Once activated, you can configure Klaviyo settings from the Product Auction App.
How to Generate Klaviyo Private API Key
To connect Klaviyo with the Product Auction App, you need to generate the Klaviyo Private API Key from your Klaviyo account.
Follow these steps to create the API key:
- Login to your Klaviyo account.

- Navigate to Settings.
- Under the Settings menu, open the General section.
- Go to the API Keys option.

- Click on Create Private Key.
- Enter a name for your API key according to your requirement.
- Select the required access permission and provide Full Access.

- Click on Create Key.
Once the key is created, Klaviyo will generate a Private API Key.

- Klaviyo Private API Key
After adding the required credentials, save the configuration.
The Klaviyo integration will now be connected with the Product Auction App.
Configure Auction Email Templates with Klaviyo
After connecting Klaviyo, go to:
Product Auction App → Mail Config
Select the required mail template.

Each auction email template will have the option to choose the mailing method:
1 – Through Klaviyo
2 – Through Default Smtp
Choose Klaviyo as the mailing method for that template and click on Map on Klaviyo.

Create Klaviyo Flow for Auction Emails
After creating and mapping the template, you need to create a flow in Klaviyo.
Follow these steps:
- Login to Klaviyo.

- Go to the Flows section.

- Click on Create Flow.

- Select Build Your Own option.
Now, add:
- Flow Name

- Required Tags
Use the same email template name/tag that you mapped in the Product Auction App.
After adding details, click on Create Flow.
Configure Flow Trigger
After creating the flow, you will be redirected to the trigger selection page.
Follow these steps:
- Go to the All Triggers section.

- Select Metric as the trigger type.

- Search for the mapped email template name.
- Select the required metric.
The setup trigger page will appear.

Click on Save to continue.
Add Email Action in Klaviyo Flow
After saving the trigger, you will reach the Flow Actions section.
To add the email action:
- Click on the + (Plus) icon below the End button.

- Select Email.
- Open Email Details.
- Select Choose Template.

You will be redirected to the Templates page.
Now:
- Search for your created email template.

- Select the template.
- Click on Use Template.

Configure Email Details
After selecting the template, configure the email details:
- Template Name
- Subject Line

Once completed, click on Done.
Your Klaviyo flow email setup is now completed.
Manage Flow Status
After completing the configuration, you can choose how you want to run the email flow:
- Draft – Keep the flow saved but inactive.
- Manual – Review and manage the flow manually.
- Live – Activate the flow and start sending auction emails automatically.
