INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘payment_cinetpay_checkout.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘payment_cinetpay_checkout.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Let’s start configuring Odoo Website Cinetpay Checkout Payment Acquirer.

CONFIGURATION (ODOO BACKEND)

1. Open the ‘Invoicing> Configuration> Payment Providers’ section after installation.

2. Select the ‘Cinetpay Checkout’ payment provider on the next page.

3. In the ‘Credentials’ tab, enter the ‘API Key and Site ID.’ Refer to the Cinetpay website to know, how to create the API Key.

4. Open the ‘Configuration’ tab and select ‘Payment Journal.’ Also, you can enter the Display name, supported payment icons, countries, and maximum amount.

5. After that, open the ‘Messages’ tab and enter the messages for the listed scenarios.

6. In the Cinetpay Merchant Account, open the ‘Dashboard’ menu and enter the ‘Service name, URL for Notification, Return URL, and Cancellation URL.’

7. Navigate to the Odoo website, open the ‘Shop’ page, select and open a product, and add it to the Cart. 

8. On the checkout page, you can view the ‘Cinetpay Checkout’ payment option, select it, and click the ‘Pay Now’ button.

9. On the payment gateway, select the payment method and enter the details. Once done, click the ‘Pay…’ button.

10. Enter the received code to confirm the payment.

11. After it verifies the payment details, the system will process the payment automatically, and you will see the ‘Success or Failure’ message based on the transaction.
