Generating API Credentials: Multi Channel Magento1x Odoo Bridge

Multi Channel Magento1x Odoo Bridge extension connects Odoo with Magento1.x version using  SOAP/XML-RPC API . Prior to connecting  Odoo and Magento you need to create an SOAP/XML-RPC API User at  Magento end and place the API User Name and Api Key in Odoo.

By default Magento provide 2 types API

1. SOAP/XML-RPC
2. REST

In this articles we are mainly going to cover SOAP/XML-RPC API.

Creating a SOAP/XML-RPC API Roles

 

For creating SOAP/XML-RPC API Role visit :

System ==> Web Services ==> SOAP/XML-RPC-Roles

• Click on Add New Role.

 

• Place Role Information ( Role Name ,Current Admin Password)  and save role.

• In the Role Resources tab select Resource Access  as All and save the record.

Creating a SOAP/XML-RPC API Users

 

For creating SOAP/XML-RPC API Role visit :

System ==> Web Services ==> SOAP/XML-RPC-Users

• Click on Add New User.
• Place Account Information ( User Name,API Key etc ) .
• In the User Role  tab assign previously create role to user  and save user.

After completing all these mention steps  collect the API User Name and API Key , place them in credentials section of  Multi Channel Magento1x Odoo Bridge .
