    Employee Own Records

    Introduction

    Odoo Employee Own Records: Every organization has a need to keep some information confidential. Odoo Employee Own Records module helps to maintain sensitive employee data and information relating to the employees which if leaked can cause a huge loss to the business. Using module employees will be able to see their own records.

    installation

    After buying this app from our Webkul store you will get the link for downloading the zip file. Simply download it and extract then you will see the employee_self_records folder, now you will have to copy this app folder inside your Odoo addons path. Now simply follow these steps:
    1. Go to settings menu and click on Activate the Developer mode.
    2. Now go to the apps menu and Click on ‘Update Modules List’.
    3. Remove the app’s filter and search for the employee_self_records key.
    4. Now you will see the module then simply install it.

    After installing you will be able to handle different functionality as mentioned in the module’s workflow.

    Once the Employee Own Records module is installed successfully, an admin can proceed with the working mentioned below.

    Admin View

    Admin can create an employee under Employee menu by clicking on the Create button.


    Now, create a user for the corresponding employee. Under Setting menu click on Users menu> create button. Then define all the relevant details of the users and give the employee access only to the user created. An activation mail will be sent to the employee on the registered email Id. Using this activation link send through mail employee can set his/her password for login.


    Now, under HR settings tab> select a related user for the employee created.


    All the details including attendance, contracts, leave left, payslips, time sheets, and other employee information will be visible to admin on the employee page.

    Under Attendance menu> Attendance, admin can check all employees attendance record.


    Admin can check leave summary of all employees with their respective status by clicking on Leaves menu> leaves summary.


    Admin can also check contracts of all the employees by clicking on the Employees menu> Contracts.

    Employee View

    An employee can reset his/her password using the link he received on his/her email id. Once successfully done employee can login using his credentials.


    The registered employee can check his own details under the employee menu> employee.



    Under Attendance menu> Attendance, an employee can check his attendance record.


    An employee can check his leave summary with their respective status by clicking on Leaves menu> leaves summary.


    The employee can check his payslips by clicking on employees menu> employee> payslips tab.


    Under Employees menu> Employees> then the timesheet tab, an employee can check his timesheet record.
