CS-Cart Purchase Order

CS-Cart Purchase Order simplifies the procurement process by enabling store owners to create, manage, and track purchase orders from a centralized interface.

The add-on helps businesses manage suppliers, quotations, incoming shipments, and inventory efficiently.

It can automatically generate purchase orders when product stock reaches a predefined level, ensuring timely restocking and preventing inventory shortages.

After downloading CS-Cart Purchase Order add-on, you’ll get one zip file, one install.txt file, and a relevant User Guide manual doc.

Please read it carefully for proper configuration.

Go to Manage Add-ons, and click on “Manual Installation” as shown below in the snapshot.

Click on “Local” to browse the zip file, and then click on “Upload & Install” as shown below in the snapshot.

From there, you can create and manage supplier profiles by adding their contact and business details.

Enter the supplier’s name, email address, phone number, company name, state, country, ZIP/postal code, and any other required details.

After saving the information, the supplier becomes available for creating quotations and purchase orders.

Quotation

To create a quotation, navigate to Orders >> Purchase Orders >> Quotations from the CS-Cart admin panel.

Both the admin and vendor can create quotations.

Select the vendor and supplier, then add a comment.

Next, click Add Items to select the products, specify the required quantity and purchase price for each item, and save the quotation.

Once the quotation is confirmed, you can convert it into a purchase order.

Shipment

After you confirm the quotation, the add-on automatically creates a shipment for the selected items.

Once the shipment is created, open it to edit the shipment details.

After selecting the desired schedule, click Save to apply the configuration.

Next, click Partial Shipment to create a shipment for the selected items.

After entering the required comment, click Save to create the partial shipment.

Purchase Order From Product

To generate quotations automatically, the vendor must enable Quotation from the product.

Once the Purchase Order feature is enabled and the product goes out of stock, the add-on automatically generates a quotation for that product.
