CS-Cart Hyperlocal System

**Note: You must have the Google API Key or HERE API Key to make use of this add-on.

Also, for the API the – distance matrix, geocoding, places, geolocation API’s must also be enabled.

• It will integrate with CS-Cart/CS-Cart Multi-Vendor/Multi-Vendor Plus/Multi-Vendor Ultimate.
• Admin/vendor can set multiple locations where they can ship their products.
• The option is available for customers to buy products from those sellers who are selling at the location entered by them.
• The plugin facilitates the customers to change their location.
• Customers can enter the desired Pincode and can buy the products from the sellers, providing shipping services in that locality.
• Vendors can decide shipping rates for products and categories based on distance and time.
• Vendors can charge different shipping rates for products based on the delivery time chosen by the customers.
• Admin can set any shipping method as the Hyperlocal Shipping Method.
• Admin can set default shipping rates and time of delivery for products and categories.
• The admin can set the time slots for the location.
• The vendor can also manage the hyperlocal configuration from his panel.
• Nearby sellers can now be searched.
• Users can checkout with single or multiple sellers’ products.

Afterward, during the installation of the add-on, you will find the “Hyperlocal System” add-on in the list of the available add-on. Make sure, the add-on will activate as shown in the below snapshot.

Now after the installation of the add-on, click on the hyperlocal as shown in the above snapshots –
You will need to enter the details as shown below.

General Setting – Google API

• Storefront Status: The admin can enable/disable the feature from here.
• API Selection – In this section, you will need to select the API i.e, Google API or HERE API.
• Google API Key – If you will select the Google API then enter the Google API key.

• HERE App Id- If you will select the HERE API then enter the Here App Id.
• HERE App Code- If you will select the HERE API then enter the Here App Code.
• Customer Location Method – Select the customer location method, if you will select the search option, the customer will be shown a popup to enter his location and only the products which will deliver to the customer’s location will be shown to him.
  On selecting the Pincode option, all the products will be shown to the customer and the customer will need to check the product’s availability by entering his pin code on the product’s detail page.
• Customer Location Detection – Select the customer location detection, if you will select the auto option, the customer will be automatically shown the popup to enter the customer’s location.
  On selecting a manual option, the customer will need to click on the location icon to get the popup box to set his location.

Single Seller Checkout Option: On selecting Single, the customer will be allowed to checkout with a single-seller product. On selecting Multiple, the customer will be allowed to checkout with multiple seller products at the same time

Show the distance between vendor product and customer location: On the enabling checkbox, the distance between the vendor product and customer location will be visible on the front end’s product page. On the disabling checkbox, the distance between the vendor product and customer location will not be visible on the front end’s product page.

Time Slot: On the enabling checkbox, the time slot feature will be visible. On the disabling checkbox, the time slot feature will not visible.

After entering all the details click on save to save all the settings.

Shipping settings

• • Default Price- Set the default price. This price will be used to calculate the shipping rates for Hyperlocal Shipping if the vendor has not set the price for the particular product, there in the cart.
  • Default Distance – Enter the default distance for the price you have set. This distance will be used to calculate the shipping rates & time for Hyperlocal Shipping if the vendor has not set the distance for the particular product, there in the cart.
  • Default Distance Unit – Select the unit of the default distance.
  • Default Time – Enter the default time to deliver the product for the set distance. This time will be used to calculate the shipping time for Hyperlocal Shipping when the vendor has not set the time for the particular product, there in the cart.
  • Default Time Unit- Select the unit of the default time.

After all the settings, click on save.

Now go to Vendors >> Hyperlocal System>> Manage Area as shown below.

Here, click on the plus icon to add the area of the vendor’s store, and also set the distance till where the vendors can ship their products as shown below-

Once the location is added it will display on the Hyperlocal manage areas.

Note: The admin can set the shipping option as delivery or pickup. If the admin chooses delivery then the product owner will deliver the product and if they set it as pickup then the customer needs to pick up the order from the store. 

Now go to Vendors >> Hyperlocal System>> Manage Shippings as shown below.

Click on the plus icon to add the shipping details for the hyperlocal system as shown below.

The next tab is Products, click on add products option and add the products and close as shown below –

Moreover, the next tab is Categories, click on add categories option and select the categories. Then click on add categories option displayed over the pop-up –

Now go to Vendors >> Hyperlocal System>> Manage Time slots as shown below.

When the admin selects the manage time slot option a new page will open where the admin can create different time slots for different days. 

This list will display in the Hyperlocal Manage Timeslots option.

Now go to Layouts to add the block of the hyperlocal system for the storefront as shown –

At the frontend, the customer will need to add his/her location and when the customer will add the location. Then only those products will be visible to the customers and will ship to their locations as shown below –

Nearby Search

The customer can search any nearby location as well from their panel.

You can see the shipping rates will calculate at the checkout page on the basis of time and location.

Here, in the case of the customer method location option is set as Pincode in settings then in this scenario. The customer will need to add their Pincode to check the product’s availability of shipping for their location as shown below.

Note: If the user changes his location then the cart will get empty automatically. 

Note – For using a Hyperlocal system with the shipping methods, the hyperlocal shipping option must be activated for the shipping method from the backend panel as shown below –

The vendors can also set the hyperlocal area, shipping, and time slots from their panel using the CS-cart Hyperlocal system.

Similarly, vendors can add shipping settings and time slots for the location.
