The flow of Installation and Configuration

Navigate to Add-ons > Downloaded add-ons and click on the settings icon. You can manually install the zip file as shown below:

Click on “Local” to browse the zip file and then click on “Upload & Install” as shown below in the snapshot.

Activate Add-on

Once you install and activate the CS-Cart CardConnect Payment, you can begin configuring its settings.

Configuration for Payment Methods

First, go to Settings > Payment Methods from the admin panel.
Navigate to Settings, then click Payment Methods to begin configuring the payment gateway.

Click on “+” to create a new payment method.

Select CS-Cart CardConnect Payment Gateway as the Payment Processor.
Enter a suitable name for the payment method.

Payment Gateway Configuration

Merchant ID — Unique identifier assigned to your CardConnect merchant account.
Username — Login username used to authenticate with the payment gateway.
Password — Password used for gateway authentication.
Mode — Select Test for testing transactions or Live for real payments.
Site — CardConnect site/endpoint identifier (e.g., fts).
Currency — Currency used for processing payments, such as US Dollars (USD).
Transaction Type — Defines how the payment transaction should be processed.

Front-End View

After the successful configuration of the payment method, New payment option are available for customers at the front end.

For payment, the customer needs to select the option as shown below and enter the necessary details for payment.

For CardConnect Payment Method customer needs to select the CardConnect Payment Gateway from the given payment methods and when customer selects CardConnect Payment Method, they fill the card details, and click on Place order to get their order placed as shown below in the snapshot-
