AMC Elektronik is a German wholesaler of smartphones and tablets, based in Bonn.
The company sells large lots of mobile devices to trade partners rather than to end shoppers.
Its range covers devices from Samsung, Apple, Sony, LG, Motorola, HTC, Huawei, Microsoft and BlackBerry.
Buyers register as trade partners first, and only then get access to stock and prices.
The firm sits close to the Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt cargo airports. Shipments reach Europe in about 24 hours and the rest of the world in about 48.

AMC runs its trade store on Shopware, while Odoo holds the products, stock, contacts and sales orders.
With no link between the two, staff had to copy the same records by hand.
Stock was the hardest part, since wholesale lots move fast and a wrong number turns into a broken order.
Odoo tracks reserved and outgoing quantities on its own. The store could not show what a buyer was free to order.
Trade partners also wanted to follow their own orders in their account instead of emailing the sales desk.
Deliveries leave within a day or two, so the store and the warehouse had to agree on stock.

Webkul connected the Shopware store to the Odoo 19 backend, then shaped the sync around AMC’s wholesale rules.

The base sync sits on Webkul’s Odoo Multi-Channel Sale framework, with the Shopware connector on top of it.
From there, Webkul worked through AMC’s requirement sheet and built each custom change described below.
Product images did not load on the Shopware pages during the early sync runs.
Webkul repaired the image transfer, so media held in Odoo now renders on the store pages.
Trade buyers can see each device clearly before they place a bulk order.
AMC carries many device models and variants, so sending product templates one by one took too long.

Webkul added a bulk upload route that pushes product templates from Odoo to Shopware in a single run.
The catalogue team can now update the store in batches, and the same route handles later template changes.
Inside Odoo, on-hand, reserved and outgoing quantities sit in separate figures.
Shopware needed one clear number: what a trade partner can order today.
To fix that, Webkul reworked the stock calculation, so the store shows the total available quantity with committed units taken off.
As a result, the quantity a buyer sees follows what the warehouse can still release.
A wholesale order should hold its goods the moment someone approves it.
Sales order approval in Odoo now triggers that reservation.
The same rule releases the stock again when an order no longer needs it. Units therefore stay tied to real orders, not to open enquiries.
Orders stayed on Open in the Shopware account even after the goods had left the warehouse.
Once Odoo dispatches an order, the status flow moves it to Shipped and shows the order details.

Partners abroad can check progress themselves, which matters when a shipment is due to land within two days.
Lost logins were another drain, because Shopware customers could not reset their own password.
Enabling password reset on the store gave buyers a way to recover access on their own.
Approved contacts were also vanishing from Odoo after approval, which cut a buyer off from their own records.
Webkul corrected that behaviour, so an approved contact stays in Odoo once approval goes through.
AMC now runs one flow of product, stock, order and customer data across both systems.
The store publishes stock that already accounts for reserved and outgoing units, so trade buyers order against real availability.
Order progress reaches the partner account without a call or an email to the sales desk.
