User Guide for Odoo MyDSV Shipping Integration

Odoo MyDSV Shipping Integration helps businesses manage shipping with MyDSV directly from the delivery workflow. It allows users to configure the shipping carrier and apply fixed shipping charges. Additionally, users can create shipments, generate shipping labels, and track deliveries with ease. As a result, the shipping process becomes faster and more efficient.

Moreover, the module adds MyDSV shipping services to the delivery process. It also stores shipment details, tracking references, and shipping labels in one place. Therefore, businesses can manage shipments more easily and keep their shipping operations well organized.

It also reduces manual work by allowing users to create shipments, download shipping labels, and fetch the latest shipment status without leaving the delivery order.

1. Configure MyDSV as a delivery carrier using your shipping account credentials.
2. Apply fixed shipping charges to sales orders without using live shipping rates.
3. Create MyDSV shipments directly from validated delivery orders.
4. Generate shipping labels automatically after a shipment is created successfully.
5. Download generated shipping labels anytime from the delivery order.
6. Store shipment tracking references for easy shipment management.
7. Fetch the latest shipment status directly from the MyDSV service.
8. Track shipment progress using the generated MyDSV tracking reference.

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘mydsv_shipping_integration’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘mydsv_shipping_integration’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Configuration of Odoo MyDSV Shipping Integration

1. Go to Sales → Configuration → Delivery Methods, create a new delivery method or edit an existing one, and select MyDSV as the delivery provider.

Enter your MyDSV credentials, subscription keys, fixed shipping charges, and delivery preferences. Save the delivery method to complete the MyDSV configuration.

2. Create a Sales Order and click Add Shipping. Select MyDSV as the shipping method to apply it to the order.

Review the order weight and configured shipping charge. Click Add to include the delivery cost in the sales order before confirming it.

3. Review the shipping charge added to the sales order and make sure the MyDSV delivery line appears correctly in the order details.

Click Confirm to create the sales order. The system automatically creates the related delivery order for shipment processing.

4. Open the generated Delivery Order and click Put in Pack. Select the package type and review the shipping weight before creating the shipment.

Verify the package dimensions, then click Put in Pack to save the package details and continue with the shipment process.

5. Validate the delivery order to create the shipment in MyDSV. The module automatically generates the tracking reference and shipping label after a successful shipment is created.

You can view the tracking reference, check the shipment status, and click Download MyDSV Label to download the generated shipping label whenever required.

6. After the shipment is created, the module generates the MyDSV shipping label automatically and attaches it to the delivery order.

Click Download MyDSV Label to download the generated shipping label anytime. The label also remains available in the delivery order for future use.

7. Use the generated tracking reference to view shipment details on the MyDSV tracking page. The tracking page displays the current shipment status and delivery progress.

Monitor the shipment from Booked to Delivered and view additional shipping information, including pickup, delivery, and shipment details, from a single page.
