Opencart Marketplace Follow Seller module allows the customer to follow their favourite sellers on the Marketplace. With the help of this module, the buyer can see all the updates and the latest product added by the seller.
The Seller can also send newsletters to their followers. The customer can see Top Seller, Top products of the followed seller, Similar top products, and Top followed seller.
Opencart Marketplace Follow Seller is an add-on of the Opencart Marketplace Module. To use this module, you must have installed the first Opencart Marketplace Module.

1. This module supports all templates and themes including the Journal theme.
2. Opencart Marketplace Follow Seller module supports the Multi-Store feature of default Opencart.

Installation & Configuration
Installation of Opencart Marketplace Follow Seller is very easy. You just need to drag your admin & catalog folder file into the Opencart root folder and it will be installed.
You can also install the Opencart Marketplace Follow Seller by uploading the admin & catalog files through extension installer.
Now admin will go to Extensions > Modifications and then click on refresh button like the image below.
Before configuring the Opencart Marketplace Follow Seller module, the admin will set the options under Catalog Module configuration in the base Opencart Marketplace module setting. Please check the below image.
Now admin will click on the edit button to configure the module. Admin will enable the module and then do the following settings.
General Configuration:
Here, the admin can enable Seller Dashboard Status so that seller can see their followers.
Admin can also enable Customer Dashboard Status for the customer to view their followed sellers, the admin will set Seller Newsletter Set status for sending newsletter from the seller’s end.
Admin will select other options which are explained below-
Top Seller– If this option is selected then the customer will see the top seller on the front-end.
Top products of the followed seller– If this option is selected the customer will see top products of the followed seller.
Similar Top Products– With the help of this option, the customer will see products similar to the top products from different sellers.
Top Followed Sellers– With the help of this option, the customer can see the seller who is frequently followed.
Newsletter Setting
Here admin can enable the seller newsletter status so that seller can send a newsletter to their followers. Even the Admin can restrict the seller from sending a newsletter to any customer group. Admin can set Newsletter subject and Newsletter message. If Seller Newsletter Status is disabled, then the default Newsletter will be sent to the customer.
Followed Seller Mail Settings
Here, the admin will do the configuration by which mail will be sent to the seller when any customer follows them. Admin will also set Followed Mail subject and message.

Here, the admin will do the configuration by which mail will be sent to the customer whenever they follow any seller. Admin will also set Followed Mail subject and message.

Here admin can see the code for normal keywords.
Layout
After configuration of this module admin needs to set the Opencart Marketplace Follow Seller layout on the product page.
Admin follow the path as System-> Design-> Layout and edit the product page to set the layout.
After click on edit admin needs to select Marketplace Follow Seller and set position to Content Bottom.

Seller Management
In the Seller’s account, the seller can see a tab called “Follow Seller” in their account like the image below.
On clicking that tab, the seller can see a list of customers and their email id who are following that seller.
The seller can create a new newsletter or can select customer(s) and then send a newsletter to them.
The seller can create a newsletter and then save it. Also, sellers can delete/unfollow their customers.
Customer’s End
Customer or buyer can see “Following Seller” option in their account as per the below image.
The customer can follow the seller on the product page. They can also view other options enabled by the admin like “Top Sellers”, “Similar Top Products”, “Top Products Of Followed Seller” and “Top Followed Sellers”. Please check the below image for the better understanding.
Admin Management
After the module installation, admin can see “Follow Seller” option under the Marketplace in their admin panel.
When the admin will click on the “Follow Seller” tab, then a new page will open where admin can view the sellers and their number of followers. Admin can select any seller and delete them from the list.
On clicking on “View” button, admin can see a list of customers who are following the seller. Admin can select the customers and delete the theme from the list.
