WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Splitcart will allow the buyers to add more than one seller’s products to their cart. While a particular seller’s products added in a cart are being processed for checkout, the remaining products will remain in the cart so that payment can be made immediately or later as per the buyer’s convenience.
Note:
- WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace SplitCart module is an add-on to the WordPress WooCommerce Multi-Vendor Marketplace module. To use this module you must have installed the first WordPress Woocommerce Multi-Vendor Marketplace.
- WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Split Cart is compatible with multisite.

Features
- The Buyers can add multiple seller’s products to their cart.
- Based on the number of sellers the cart gets divided accordingly.
- As after cart split the checkout works like a single seller checkout, existing shipping and payment methods will work.
Installation
The user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel. For this login to WordPress Admin Panel and Under the Dashboard hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu and then selects the “Add New” option.
After this, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, click the option to upload the zip file.
Click on the “Upload Plugin” option and click on the “Choose File” button to browse for the zip file. Check screenshot for more details:
After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.
When plugin installed correctly a success message will appear. Furthermore an option to activate the plugin. Click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin.
Configuration
Here the admin can enable or disable the module.
Frontend Workflow
The customer can add the products from multiple sellers into the cart and then can click on the View Cart button:
Tap the View Cart button to open the cart page. Here, the customer can see multiple products of different sellers in his cart.
Now, the customer has to proceed to checkout differently for each seller. Or we can say the cart page will show different checkouts of different sellers.
After tapping the “Proceed to Checkout” button for a seller, the customer can complete checkout for the respective seller. Check the screenshot for more details:
Hit the “Place Order” button to complete the purchase with the order details. Here, on this page, the customer can see an option – Some products are still waiting in the cart “Go to Cart“.
Furthermore tapping this option will redirect you to the cart page so that you can proceed to checkout for the leftover sellers’ products.
Now, tap the “Go to Cart” option and it will redirect the customer to the cart. and then the customer can proceed to check-out for the remaining sellers.
