WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Advanced Commission gives the ability admin to set commissions for products, categories, and subcategories.

Admin can also use various commission rules to charge a commission from the seller. In the case of any product lies under various categories on which the admin has set the commission.

Then the highest commission will be applicable to the product.

It is an add-on to the WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin. To use this plugin you must install the first WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin.

Installation

The user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress Admin Panel.

For this login to the WordPress Admin Panel and Under the Dashboard hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu and then select the “Add New” option.

After this, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, click the option to upload the zip file.

After clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.

then browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

Now when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the install plugin.

Configuration

Once you are over with the installation of the WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Advance Commission Plugin, Admin can configure this plugin under Marketplace > Advanced Commission > Configuration.

Enable/Disable

With the help of this option, the admin will be able to switch the module into enable or disable mode.

Use Commission Rules

The admin can select the permission for use commission rule or not.

Manage Seller

Admin can also set per category commission to a specific seller. This can be done under “Advanced Commission > Manage Seller“.

Here he just needs to click on “Set Commission” and he will be redirected to the seller category commission list.

On this page, the admin can select any category from the list and click on the edit button so it will navigate them to set seller category commission page.

So the admin can add commission for a specific seller as per the below screenshot.

An Admin will be able to set the commission for each category under, while adding a new category or by editing an existing category.

If any product lies under various categories on which admin has set the commission, then the highest commission will be applicable to the product.

Assign Category

The admin can also assign categories to the sellers by clicking on the assign category tab.

It will redirect the admin to the seller page where the admin can add categories to the seller account.

Use Commission Rules

If the admin wants to use commission rules instead of category and product-based commission.

They can select the Use Commission Rule as “Yes”, then the commission will apply according to the commission rule only.

The Admin can add/edit or Delete commission rules under “Advanced Commission > Commission Rules”.

By Clicking on “Add Rule”, the admin can able to add different commission rules as per his requirement.

The admin can select the rule type like Product, Seller order total, and Total Seller sales from the drop-down.

While adding a new commission rule, the admin will be able to define a range of prices and even can choose the type of commission as “Fixed” or “Percentage”.

Note: The total seller sales rule will get the priority for the seller commission.

How priority commission rule will apply to the orders?

The admin can define the from and to the range for the orders. When any seller orders total will lie between the range then the rule will apply.

First priority will be for the Total seller sales rule if the seller orders total sale amount lies within the range then this commission rule will apply.

If the orders didn’t match the range then the Seller order total rule will apply. Similarly, if the range condition is not met then the product type rule will apply to separate seller products.

Category Based Commission

If the admin wants to use category-based commission instead of commission rules. They can select the Use Commission Rule as “No”, then the commission will apply to categories only.

When the admin clicks on the Set per category commission it will open the category list. Where admin can add commission for individual categories.

Admin can set the commission on each product under “Products > Categories” while adding a new product or by editing an existing product.

If the commission on a product is not set then the commission on the seller category will get priority if both are not set then the default category commission will be used.
