INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘survey_qr_code_generator.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘survey_qr_code_generator.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Let’s begin the configuration of the Odoo Survey QR Code Generator.

CONFIGURATION

1. After Installation, move to the Survey module and create a survey. Also, add authorized users in the designated box and click the ‘Add a Section’ button in the ‘Questions’ tab.

2. Add questions in the box, choose the desired type, input answers in the popup, and save the changes.

3. Move to the ‘Options’ tab, and under the ‘Candidates’ section, tick the boxes next to ‘Login Required and Want to Generate QR Code.’

Once done, click the ‘Save’ button or icon to save the survey.

4. After that, click the ‘Start Survey’ button to initiate the survey.

5. After initiating the survey, various options will appear in the bar. With the ‘Share and Invite by email,’ you can invite customers or interested individuals to answer the survey.

6. On clicking the ‘Share and Invite by email,’ a form will appear on the screen where you must enter recipients’ names to send them an invite.

7. On clicking the ‘Test’ button, the module will show you a demo of the created survey.

8. It will open a new window with a survey link that participants can use to fill in the survey.

9. Once the survey is completed the system will generate the QR code for the participant.

Capture and save this QR code on your device to use for marking your presence at the survey.

LAUNCHING QR CODE READER

10. Once the survey is finished, click the ‘Close Live Session’ button to end the survey. It will disable the survey link for all participants.

After that, click the ‘QR Reader’ button to launch the QR Code reader.

11. On the QR reader page, click the ‘Start Scanning’ button to launch the camera to scan the QR code.

12. After scanning, it will record the participants’ names and check-in times.

13. In the survey form, you can see the ‘Registered’ option, which will display the list of all the participants who completed the survey.

14. The participants’ list will appear with the relevant details like created on, email, deadline, partner, status, etc.
