INTRODUCTION

Odoo Shippo shipping Integration: Deliver your order with ease!

When delivering products to remote areas, you may often face a problem where you can’t locate a perfect shipping method.

Additionally, some users order products from a remote area where there are no delivery partners available.

And some users order products in bulk, which is difficult to pack and ship. Further, to solve this problem, they need a delivery carrier through which they can deliver goods.

Hence, Odoo Shippo Shipping Integration is the solution to these problems. It can deliver products to customers with ease and efficiency.

In addition, the Odoo app works from the backend and website. The admin and customers can choose Shippo delivery method for secure and fast deliveries.

Moreover, customers can select the Shippo shipping service while placing orders from the Odoo website. Also, the module provides various other features to ease delivery.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘shippo_shipping_integration.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’ in the odoo app.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘shippo_shipping_integration.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1. After installation, navigate through ‘Sales >> Configuration >> Shipping Method.’

2. Now, you can either create a new shipping method by clicking on ‘Create’ or you can configure the already-created shipping method by selecting it.

3. Now, after selecting the Already Created  ‘Shippo’ or ‘Shippo International’ shipping method, under the extra tab, configure the ‘Delivery Setting and Shippo shipping information.’

NOTE: For international Shippo delivery, select ‘Use Shippo International Service’ in the Shippo shipping setting under the extra tab.

4. Under the Shippo credential tab, configure the Shippo test token and Shippo live token.

5. After configuring Shippo local and international delivery, create an order from the odoo backend.

6. Select the customer and the product that needs to be ordered.

7. To add a shipping method, click the ‘Add shipping’ option.

8. The ‘Add a Shipping Method’ window will pop up. Select the shipping method as Shippo and click on the ‘Get Shippo Price.’

9. Select the shipping rates according to the required service and click ‘Select.’

10. Now, confirm the quotation, make it a sales order, and click on ‘Confirm.’

11. Open the delivery from the top-right corner.

12. Now, for packaging, click on ‘Put in Pack.’

13. Configure the package details and click on ‘Save.’

14. After all the processes, click ‘Validate’ to validate your delivery.

15. Only after validation of the transaction ID, shipment rate ID, tracking URL, and tracking reference will they be generated that will be used for traceability and trackability 

16. You will get an email and SMS reminder attachment for tracking.

17. The tracking URL will provide you with an update on your shipment.

18. Create an order without selecting any delivery method and confirm it.

19. Now, configure the delivery method by Clicking on ‘Delivery.’ 

20. To customize your package size, click the ‘Put in Pack’ button.

21. Configure the package details and click the ‘Save’ button.

22. Under ‘Shipping Information in Additional Settings,’ choose the carrier as ‘Shippo.’

23. Now Click on ‘Get Shippo Rates’ to configure the Shippo rate for your delivery.

24. Now select the shippo rate according to the service that is well suited for the delivery.

25. Finally, click ‘Validate’ to validate your delivery for processing.

26. After the validation of your delivery, you will receive an attachment of tracking via Email and SMS.

NOTE: You can simply track and trace your order with this attachment.
