Features of PrestaShop Shipment Timer
- Display shipment timer on product page for specific days of the week.
- Show shipment timer on product page for multiple dates.
- Offer shipment on the same day or a specific day of the week.
- Set the date range for which you want to show the shipment timer for the product.
- Select dates in the date range for which you want to disable the shipment timer.
- Restrict shipment timer for specific products, categories, countries, customer groups, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- A dedicated orders tab to view the shipment date and time of the products ordered.
- Customize the appearance of the shipment timer block by setting font size, color, background color, border color, and radius.
- Set the custom message to show in a shipment timer block.
How to Install PrestaShop Shipment Timer
- Firstly, go to the Module Manager in the back office and click on ‘Upload a Module’.
- After that, either drag and drop the module file or select the file directly from your system.
- Once the file is uploaded, the module installation process will begin successfully.



Manage Shipment Timer
After the successful installation of the module, a new tab, “Manage Shipment Timer,” becomes available under Shipping in the back office.

From this tab, the admin can:
- Configure the module settings.
- Manage the display of the shipment timer.
- View shipment date & time of orders.
Rule Configuration
In this section, the admin can configure the shipment timer for products either day-wise or date-wise.
Day-Wise Shipment Type
In the ‘Day Wise’ shipment type, the admin can select the days on which he wants to show the shipment timer on the product page.

- Select day(s) – Shipment timer will appear on the products on the days selected by admin in this field.
- Shipment on – Here the admin has to select a day of product shipment.
Shipment on same day
If admin has selected ‘Same Day’ in the “Shipment On” field, then all the orders placed on the same day before the time set by admin will be shipped on the same day.
For example, if a customer places an order on 24/09/24 (Tuesday) before 20:00 as set by admin, then the order will ship on 24/09/24 (Tuesday) i.e on the same day.

Shipment on Custom Day
If the admin wants to ship the product(s) after 3 to 4 days, then he can select ‘Custom day’ in “Shipment On” field and set the number of days after which the products can be shipped.

For example, if a customer has placed an order on 25/09/2024 (Wednesday) before 17:00 and admin has set 3 days for product shipment, then the product will be ship on 28/09/2024 (Saturday).

Shipment on a particular day
If admin wants the product(s) to be shipped on a particular day of the week, then he can selectt a day in “Shipment on” field.
So if a customer places an order on any day of the week then the product(s) will be ship on the day set by admin.

Continue to next selected weekday

Suppose the delivery in not being done on Thursday and the order is placed on Wednesday after 20:00, then the module will skip Thursday and show delivery as Friday.
Note: If the admin has enabled this setting, then shipment timer will continue to display for the next selected days.
Else, the shipment timer will not display after 20:00 on Wednesday and will appear on the product page at 00:00 on Friday.

Date Wise Shipment Type
The admin can choose to show shipment timer on specific dates by selecting date wise shipment type.

‘Specific Date’ Date Type
Admin can select the dates on which he wants to show shipment timer on product details page.

Admin can view a list of all the saved dates in case the dates are not visible in the field by clicking on ‘Display all saved include dates’ button.
On clicking the button, a popup appears on the page where admin can view a list of saved dates.

Shipment on Same day
If the admin has selected ‘Same Day’ in the “Shipment On” field, then all orders placed before the specified time on the selected date will be shipped on the same day.
For example, if a customer places an order on 26/09/2024 (THU) before 20:00, then the order will be shipped on 26/09/2024 (THU) itself, i.e., on the same day.

‘Date Range’ Date Type
Admin can select the date range for which he wants to show shipment timer on product details page.

The admin can select a few dates in a date range for which he do not want to show the shipment timer.
Please note that if you do not select any dates in the ‘Select Duration’ field, then the shipment timer will appear on all days.
If the saved exclude dates are not visible in the field, you can still view the complete list by clicking on the ‘Display All Saved Exclude Dates’ button.
Display Configuration
The admin can customize shipment timer block by setting:
- Font size/color
- Banner size
- Background color
- Border color/radius

Message
In “Message” field, admin can enter the text that will display in a shipment timer block at front end.
It is mandatory for admin to enter {timer} tag which will be replaced by remaining time a customer can place an order and {day} tag which will be replaced by shipment day.

Restrictions
Under this tab, the admin can restrict the display of the shipment timer block for:
- Categories
- Manufacturers
- Suppliers
- Countries
- Products
- Customers

Countries
Select the countries for which you want to restrict the display of the shipment timer block.

For the proper functioning of the country’s restrictions, the admin will have to enable the Geolocation configuration in the PrestaShop Back Office.
NOTE :
From 30th December 2019, you need to register on MaxMind to download the geolocation data file.
After creating the account, you can download the “GeoLite2City” database from the website. Once downloaded, extract the data using Winrar or Gzip into the /app/Resources/geoip/ directory.

Orders
Under “Orders”, admin can view the date and time of shipment for the products ordered by the customers. This helps admin in arranging the products and ship them at the right time.
