    PrestaShop Product Image Zoom {User-Guide}

    If you are an eCommerce store owner then product images are much important to you. And, the presentation of the product can only be improved by better product images. Another thing that can be done to improve the user experience of the customer is to provide features like ‘zoom-in’. Zoom-in feature will not only help customers to view products in greater detail but will also help them to decide better about their purchasing decision. Provide zoom-in feature on the product page with Prestashop product image zoom.

    The module integrates ‘zoom’ feature on your eCommerce store. This feature will be more helpful for eCommerce shops dealing in clothes, furniture, footwear, accessories etc.

    Note: PrestaShop Product Image Zoom module is compatible with PrestaShop version 8.x.x.

    Features of Product Image Zoom

    • Show enlarged images of products.
    • Set zoom level for the lens.
    • Set the dimension of the zoomed image window.
    • Select the shape of the lens as rectangle, circle or rounded border.
    • Set border width of lens in pixels.
    • Select the border colour of the lens.

    How to install the module

    1. Go to Module Manager in Back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
    2. Now, Drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
    3. In this way, the module installation will be successful.

    How to Configure Product Image Zoom Module

    Configure module for a total of four zoomed image positions.

    Show zoomed image at following four positions namely

    Searching for an experienced
    Prestashop Company ?
    Find out More
    • Right side of the image
    • Below the image
    • On the image itself
    • On the lens itself

    Let’s see the process to configure them one by one.

    Note: The configuration setting is same for 1st & 2nd options i.e for right side & below the image.

    1. Right Side of the image

    Front-End Display with Image Zoom Feature

    Out of all the available four options, the first one is to show a zoomed image on the right side of the image.

    The next option is used to show a zoomed image on the product image itself.

    Another option is used to show a zoomed image on the lens only.

    You can select the shape of the lens from the following three options available in lens type:

    • Circle
    • Rectangle
    • Rounded Border
