Prestashop Price Dual Display Tax incl and Tax excl

Manage the visibility of your prices (tax excluded and tax included) by integrating the Prestashop Price Dual Display Tax incl and Tax excl module in your PrestaShop website. Furthermore, choose where you want to display these prices– Product detail page, Product listing, Cart page, Quick view pop up, and Proceed to checkout pop up.

On the other hand, the module also gives you the provision select customer groups and categories for which the module functionalities will work and exclude products on which it will not work.

Features of the Prestashop Price Dual Display Tax incl and Tax excl

  • Show single or both prices (Exclusive and Inclusive of taxes).
  • Set priority as to which price will show first, in case “both prices” is selected.
  • Set label for tax included price.
  • Choose color for tax included price (with color picker).
  • Set label for tax excluded price.
  • Choose color for tax excluded price (with color picker).
  • Show tax excluded and tax included prices for specific products, categories, and customer groups.
  • Display Tax incl. and Tax excl. price on: Product detail page, Product listing, Quick view pop up, Proceed to checkout pop up and Cart page.
  • Multistore compatible.

Note: Prestashop Price Dual Display Tax incl and Tax excl module is compatible with PrestaShop framework version 8.x.x.

Prestashop Price Dual Display Tax incl and Tax excl Installation

  • Firstly, go to the module manager in back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
  • After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
  • In this way, the module installation will be successful.

Module Configuration

General Settings

Here on this page, you will need to configure the module settings.

This is the configuration page. We will learn about all the settings given on this page, below.

Price Display Scheme: In this field, you will get 3 options to select from.

a) Both (Tax Included and Tax Excluded)
b) Tax Included
c) Tax Excluded

Choose one that you want to display in the front-end.

Priority: This field appears when you select the “Both (Tax Included and Tax Excluded)” option in “Price Display Scheme”. It indicates which price will be given priority when “Both” option is selected.
For Example: If you set the priority to “Tax excluded” then the “Tax excluded” price will be shown followed by “Tax included” price.

Text for Tax included label: Enter the text for the Tax included label here.

Color for Tax included label: Set color for the Tax included label.

Color for Tax included price:
Set color for the Tax included price.

Text for Tax excluded label: Enter the text for the Tax excluded label here.

Color for Tax excluded label: Set color for the Tax excluded label.

Color for Tax excluded price:
Set color for the Tax excluded price.

Display both prices (Tax included/excluded) when they are same: In this field, you can choose to show both prices or not.
Let me explain you with an example.
Suppose, on any product, “No tax” is applied. Now, the product will have the same tax incl. and tax excl. price. So, in this case, you can decide whether you want to show both prices or any one.
In case of any one, you can further choose that.

Customer group: Select customer groups who can see the price according to selected price display scheme.
Location to display price scheme: Select the pages where you want to show the price according to selected price display scheme.
Select categories: If you select any category then the price display scheme will be applied on products of the selected category only.
Select exclude products: Price display scheme will not be applied on selected products.

Front End Flow

If we have set “Both (Tax Included and Tax Excluded)” option in “Price display scheme” and further we have chosen to show “Tax Excluded price” first in “Priority” field, then, according to the settings, the prices will display in the front-end.
Also, the labels and colors are shown as per the configuration done in the back office.

Restrictions

Customer group: 

In the configuration, the “customer” is chosen, so the prices (tax included and tax excluded) will display only for the customer group.

Select Categories:

The prices (tax included and tax excluded) will only display for a category “Accessories”.

Exclude products:

As we have excluded “Customizable Mug” product in the configuration, therefore the prices (tax included and tax excluded) will not display on the same.
