Prestashop Marketplace Supplier {User-Guide}

Prestashop Marketplace Supplier – You can have the best e-commerce site in the world, but without a reliable supplier for the products you sell, it can be a struggle to keep items in stock (especially if you’re not making them from scratch on your own.)

With the help of this module, Sellers can create Suppliers and can even assign products to these suppliers. Seller has full authority to add/edit/delete any created supplier. They can also add/change product assignments to these suppliers. Seller and admin can add supplier description and meta details in multi-language.

This module is an add-on for marketplace module. To use this module you need to install Prestashop Advanced Multi Vendor Marketplace.

Note

1. The module is multi-shop compatible with PrestaShop Advanced Multi-Vendor Marketplace version 5.4.0/3.4.0 and above.
2. In order to install the module, you need to install the PrestaShop Advanced Multi-Vendor Marketplace module first.
3. This module has been merged with Marketplace version 6.0.0 so if you are using Marketplace version 6.0.0 or above then no need to purchase this module separately.

How to Install Prestashop Marketplace Supplier

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

After successful installation of the module, admin has to configure it.

Supplier needs to be approved by Admin : This options lets admin decide whether suppliers added by seller should be approved automatically or manually by admin.

Seller can assign Admin Suppliers : This option will give sellers the authority to be able to assign admin created suppliers to their own products. If yes, then the seller can assign the suppliers added by the admin. If its no, then only the suppliers added by the seller will be visible and can be assigned.

Click on “Add New Supplier” button under Supplier tab.

Seller needs to fill in all the details of the Supplier on add new supplier page.

Seller can add as many suppliers as required. After adding the suppliers, a seller can view the list under Supplier as shown in the below screenshot.

Once added, the seller can assign the products to the supplier.

A seller can view a list of products associated with suppliers by clicking on their names.

Note:- If any product is assigned to any supplier, then that product will not display in the product list of that particular supplier.

If the supplier is not approved by the admin then product list is not visible to that supplier.

ASSIGN SUPPLIERS TO PRODUCTS WHILE ADDING /UPDATING A PRODUCT

Seller can assign suppliers while adding new products as well as to the existing products. On the Add product page, sellers can choose the listed suppliers from the dropdown menu.

Sellers can also choose the listed suppliers while updating the product. Sellers can also change the supplier assignment from here.

Note:- Seller can create new supplier while updating products or adding new products.

In this way, the sellers can add suppliers and assign products to them.

After the successful installation of the module, a new tab “Seller suppliers” gets available under marketplace. From here, admin can add and manage the sellers’ suppliers.

Admin can view the list of all suppliers created by the sellers and manage their status. Also, admin can edit the suppliers’ details or delete them.

Admin can add Suppliers on Seller’s Behalf by clicking on “Add New Supplier” Tab.

Admin can also view the list of products associated with the supplier.
