PrestaShop Marketplace Product Video {User Guide}

PrestaShop Marketplace Product Video module offers sellers of the marketplace to add informative/useful videos to a product.

Adding the video to a product will let sellers provide clear & exact details about a product to a customer.

It will also help in reducing the number of queries or doubts of customers regarding a product. And, useful videos can help in increasing the sales too.

A seller will be able to delete or add a new video to a product anytime. And, the shop owners(i.e., admin) can also do the same for a seller product.

Note: PrestaShop Marketplace Product Video module is compatible with PrestaShop version 8.x.x.

• Seller can add videos with their products.
• Seller can delete the video anytime, if required.
• A seller can add the video while adding the product.
• Seller can even add the videos later after adding the product.
• Admin has full control on the videos added by the seller.
• The videos can be useful for the buyer that help them understand the product better.
• The module is multi-shop compatible with PrestaShop Advanced Multi-Vendor Marketplace version 5.4.0/3.4.0 and above.

In order to install the module, you need to install the PrestaShop Advanced Multi-Vendor Marketplace module first.

After installing the marketplace module, you can now proceed to install the PrestaShop Marketplace Product Video module.

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

After the successful installation of the module, an admin can configure the module.

On the seller end, a new tab i.e., “Product Video” becomes available on the product edit page.

From the ‘Product Video’ tab, a seller can add the video to the product.

In order to add the video, a seller will need to add the embed URL of the YouTube video.

After adding the video URL & saving the details, the video will start showing on the page.

After adding the video to a product, it will display on the product page in the way shown in the screenshot below.

So, in this way a seller can add the video to a product.

An admin can also add or edit the video details for a seller product from the backend.

To do so, an admin needs to navigate to marketplace & then to products.

From this section, an admin can choose to delete the added video of a seller and add a new video URL.
