    Prestashop Marketplace Order Tracking

    Improve overall customer satisfaction by providing up-to-date information regarding the orders. With Prestashop Marketplace Order Tracking, the sellers can track the orders and update it accordingly. Letting your customers know the whereabouts of their orders will help the sellers in gaining their trust and loyalty.

    Features

    • Option to choose a template for order tracking states which will be visible to the customers.
    • Admin can display order tracking states of all the products combined or each product in an order separately.
    • Four pre defined order tracking states added in the module.
    • Admin can add new seller order tracking states by setting order tracking state name, description, and icons.
    • Sellers can view the current order tracking state and update it accordingly.

    Installation

    For installing this module, you need to install Prestashop Advanced Multi Vendor Marketplace module first.

    After installing the marketplace module you can start the installation of Prestashop Marketplace Order Tracking.

    1. Go to the back  office-> modules -> Upload a module
    2. Upload zip file of “Prestashop Marketplace Order Tracking” module
    3. The module will automatically get installed on your Prestashop.

    Module Configuration

    After the installation of module, admin can configure the module settings.

    Choose Template

    Admin can select a template for order tracking states that will be visible to customers on order details page. By default, there are two templates available in the module and each template has a separate desktop and mobile view.

    Display Combined Products in Order States

    If admin has enabled this field, then order tracking states of all the products combined will be displayed. If disabled, then order tracking states of each product in an order will be displayed separately.

    Suppose a customer has placed an order for 2 products.

    Now, if the admin has enabled the field then order status of both the products combined will be displayed on the order details page.

    If the admin has disabled the field, then order states of each product will be displayed separately.

    Note: This configuration works only when a customer has ordered multiple products of the same seller.

    Order Tracking State

    After installation of the module, a new tab “Order Tracking State” gets added under “Marketplace” . From here admin can add new order tracking states. By default, there are 4 pre defined order tracking states added in the module.

    Seller End Workflow

    Once the module gets installed, a new tab “Tracking State” gets added on Seller Order Details page. From here a seller can update the tracking state of order.

    Suppose a customer has placed an order.

    Now, when a seller updates the tracking state, it will get updated on customer’s order details page.

    In case, if the customers ordered products from two different sellers. then, the view of the tracking state for it would be like one shown in the screenshot below.

    The tracking state will be updated on the customer’s end when the status of the order is updated by the seller.

    E.g. In this case, 1st seller has packed the product while the other one has shipped the product.

    The order status for products of sellers is updated at admin’s end too.
