Features of Prestashop ISIC Student Discount
- Restrict the number of orders on which ISIC card holders can avail ISIC discount.
- Enable/Disable the application of ISIC discount on discounted products.
- Define the priority according to which ISIC discount is provided to customers.
- Customize the ISIC discount message to display on the product and cart/checkout page.
- Configure the categories and products on which ISIC card holder customers can avail ISIC discount.
- Admin can also select the groups whose customers can avail the ISIC discount.
- Display ISIC discount on invoice, delivery slip, and credit slip.
- Customers can view the ISIC discount they have received on an order on the order details page.
- A separate tab “ISIC Discounted Orders” under which admin can view a list of orders on which customers have availed ISIC discount.
- Admin can also view ISIC discount received by a customer on particular order on “Orders” page.
How to Install Prestashop ISIC Student Discount
- Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
- After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
- In this way, the module installation will be successful.
Module Configuration
After the successful installation of the module, a new tab “Discount Configuration” gets available in the back office from where admin can configure the module settings.

API Configuration
The admin can choose to use the module in live or test mode.
Enter the username and password for authentication in order to verify the ISIC cards of customers. Admin can view the link on the configuration.
On this site, admin can contact the ISIC card provider for getting the credentials.
General Settings
Under General Settings, admin can:
- Set a global discount which will be applicable on all the products in case no ISIC discount has been applied.
- Configure the number of orders on which ISIC card holder customers can avail ISIC discount. If admin has set 0 in this field, then ISIC card holder customers will get discounts on all the orders.
- Enable/Disable the application of ISIC discount on discounted products. Suppose admin applied a 20 percent discount and a 10 percent ISIC discount on the product. Let’s say the product’s cost is € 100. If admin has enabled this field, then ISIC discount of 10 percent i.e. € 10 will apply on the product first and then 20 percent discount will apply on € 90 i.e. € 18. If admin has disabled this field, the ISIC discount won’t be applied discounted products.
- Define the ISIC discount priority. So that if a customer falls into the multiple discount categories then he will get the discount as per the priority set by admin in this field.

Under “Content Settings”, admin can configure the ISIC discount message to display on the product and cart/checkout page.

Category Wise Discount
Admin can configure the categories on whose products ISIC discount will be assigned to ISIC card holder customers.

Admin can change the category, discount type, and discount by clicking on edit button.
When admin clicks on edit button, a popup appears on the screen from where he can change category, discount type, and discount.
Product Wise Discount
Admin can add the products on which ISIC discount will be applicable in the same way he added the categories.
Group Wise Discount
Under “Group Wise Discount”, the admin can select the groups whose customers can avail the ISIC discount if they have an ISIC card.
Front End Workflow of Prestashop ISIC Student Discount
When a customer visits the product page, there he can view the ISIC discount offer applicable on the product as configured by admin from the backend.
After adding the product to the cart, customer can view a block asking for ISIC card details on the cart page as shown below:
Customer has to enter his ISIC card details in order to validate it.
Once the ISIC card details get validated, ISIC discount gets applied on the cart as shown below:
After placing an order, a customer can view the discount he has received using ISIC card on order details page.
ISIC Discounted Orders
A new tab “ISIC Discounted Orders” gets add after installation of the module under which admin can view a list of orders on which customers have availed ISIC discount.
Under “ISIC Discounted Orders”, admin can view order Id & reference, customer name & email, and ISIC discount which a customer have received on his order.
Admin can also view ISIC discount received by a customer on Orders page.
