    Features of Prestashop Front Page Slide Show

    • Display a customizable slider on your Prestashop store.
    • Supports 3 types of navigation: Numbered, Dots, and Thumb.
    • Add unlimited images to be displayed in a slider.
    • Set the height of the slider window.
    • Set the time interval between the transition of images.

    How to Install Prestashop Front Page Slide Show

    • Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
    • After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
    • In this way, the module installation will be successful.

    Prestashop Front Page Slide Show Configuration

    After the installation of the module, admin need to configure it. The slider will work on the Prestashop store according to the configuration set by admin.

    Add New Image

    When admin clicks on “Add new” button under SLIDES LIST tab, a new section”ADD A NEW IMAGE” appears on the screen. From here, admin can upload the images he wants to display in a slider.

    Front End View

    Once admin has added the images, these images will be displayed in a slider on the front end as shown in the below screenshot.

    Set Number Navigation

    This option allows admin to display numbered navigation in a slider. Customers can click on the number to navigate to another image.

    Show Randomize

    If this field is disabled, then the images are displayed in a slider in the same sequence as uploaded by admin from the back office. And, if admin enables this field, then the images will appear in a slider randomly.

    Show Progress Bar

    This option enables admin to display a progress bar in a slider. It means the next image to appear in a slider is in process.

    Show Preview

    When a customer hovers mouse on the dots, the preview of the imagewill appear in the slider as shown below:

    Kindly note that the preview feature will be availble if the dots navigation appears on the slider.

    Show Focus

    This option enables an icon on the slider. If a customer clicks on this icon, then only slider will appear on the screen and nothing else.In simple words, the whole focus will be on the slider.

    Show Thumbs

    This option enables you to show navigation with thumbnails in the slider.

    Show/Hide Tools

    If admin enables this option, then controls, numbered navigation, arrow navigation, and focus will not display on slider when a user hovers outside the slider section.

    Set Alignment

    This option allow admin to set the alignment of number, dots, and thumbs in the slider. Admin can choose to show navigation in left, right, or center of the slider.

    Select Theme

    This extension provides admin with 4 theme options for the slider. The options are: clean, minimalist, round, and square. The visibility of Controls and focus will change according to the theme selected by admin.

    It can be seen in the above screenshsots, the position of controls and focus are different in clean and minimalist themes.

    Navigation Priority

    If admin has enabled more than one navigation type, then the priority is given based on the following order:

    1.  Thumb navigation
    2. Dots navigation
    3. Numbered navigation
