Prestashop Front Page Slide Show: Grab customers’ attention to your special offers and bestsellers with a visually appealing slider.

Prestashop Frontpage Slide Show facilitates you to upload images to a slider to highlight your new, featured, and top-selling products. Showcase promotions and upcoming sales with custom images in your slider so the customer won’t miss out on offers running on your store.

Customize the display of the slider by setting its height, using various animation effects, autoplay, etc. This extension supports three types of navigation: thumbs, numbered, and dots to help customers quickly navigate through the images assigned to a slider.

Note: Prestashop Front Page Slide Show module is compatible with multishop and Prestashop version 8.x.x.

• Display a customizable slider on your Prestashop store.
• Supports 3 types of navigation: Numbered, Dots, and Thumb.
• Add unlimited images to be displayed in a slider.
• Set the height of the slider window.
• Set the time interval between the transition of images.
• Show preview of images on mouse hover on dots.
• Enable or disable the random display of images in a slider,
• Various animation effects are available in the module for the slider.
• Customers can play or pause the slider anytime.
• Arrow navigation to view the next or previous image in a slider.
• Option to display numbers, dots, thumbs in the left, right, or center position of the slider.
• Multiple theme options are available for the slider to choose from.
• Choose to show or hide controls, numbered/arrow navigation, and focus when a user hovers outside the slider.

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

After the installation of the module, admin need to configure it. The slider will work on the Prestashop store according to the configuration set by admin.

Add New Image

When admin clicks on “Add new” button under SLIDES LIST tab, a new section”ADD A NEW IMAGE” appears on the screen. From here, admin can upload the images he wants to display in a slider.

Front End View

Once admin has added the images, these images will be displayed in a slider on the front end as shown in the below screenshot.

Set Number Navigation

This option allows admin to display numbered navigation in a slider. Customers can click on the number to navigate to another image.

Show Randomize

If this field is disabled, then the images are displayed in a slider in the same sequence as uploaded by admin from the back office. And, if admin enables this field, then the images will appear in a slider randomly.

Show Progress Bar

This option enables admin to display a progress bar in a slider. It means the next image to appear in a slider is in process.

Show Preview

When a customer hovers mouse on the dots, the preview of the imagewill appear in the slider as shown below:

Kindly note that the preview feature will be availble if the dots navigation appears on the slider.

Show Focus

This option enables an icon on the slider. If a customer clicks on this icon, then only slider will appear on the screen and nothing else.In simple words, the whole focus will be on the slider.

Show Thumbs

This option enables you to show navigation with thumbnails in the slider.

Show/Hide Tools

If admin enables this option, then controls, numbered navigation, arrow navigation, and focus will not display on slider when a user hovers outside the slider section.

Set Alignment

This option allow admin to set the alignment of number, dots, and thumbs in the slider. Admin can choose to show navigation in left, right, or center of the slider.

Select Theme

This extension provides admin with 4 theme options for the slider. The options are: clean, minimalist, round, and square. The visibility of Controls and focus will change according to the theme selected by admin.

It can be seen in the above screenshsots, the position of controls and focus are different in clean and minimalist themes.

Navigation Priority

If admin has enabled more than one navigation type, then the priority is given based on the following order:

1.  Thumb navigation
2. Dots navigation
3. Numbered navigation
