PrestaShop BigBuy Dropshipping {User-Guide}

With order automation feature, the module automatically fulfill orders on BigBuy when someone purchases on you site.

Note: PrestaShop BigBuy Dropshipping module is compatible with PrestaShop version 8.x.x and multi-store feature.

• Synchronize BigBuy products to PrestaShop store.
• Import BigBuy products to PrestaShop via product ID or SKU.
• Automatically update products on PrestaShop when updated on BigBuy via cron.
• Fetch BigBuy categories, attributes, and carriers in your PrestaShop store.
• Map BigBuy categories, attributes, and carriers with those of PrestaShop.
• Automatically fulfill BigBuy orders when customers make purchase from PrestaShop store.

The installation is quite simple just like the standard PrestaShop modules.

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

General Settings

Under General Settings, the admin:

• Can choose to use the module in live or test mode.
• Needs to specify the API that he obtained from his BigBuy account.

Cron Settings

Product updation

Insert the url in cron tasks manager for updating imported products on PrestaShop when they are updated on BigBuy.

Order Updation

Insert the url in cron tasks manager for automatically placing orders on BigBuy when placed on PrestaShop.

For obtaining an API key, the admin needs to login to their BigBuy account.

Once logged in, go to control panel.

Now, go to ‘My account’ tab and click on ‘Synchronize with BigBuy’.

Now, click on ‘Show API key’ button to view the API key.

For importing the products from BigBuy to PrestaShop, the admin needs to import categories, attributes, and carriers first.

Category

Download BigBuy Category

The admin can fetch the categories available on BigBuy by clicking on ‘Load BigBuy category’ button.

Click on the ‘start’ button to fetch the categories.

It may take some time to download all the categories from BigBuy. So, the admin can also fetch a few categories and abort the process.

Category Mapping

The admin can map PrestaShop categories with BigBuy categories by clicking on ‘Auto sync BigBuy categories’ button.

Based on the titles, the categories will be mapped i.e. if the titles of prestaShop categories will match with those of BigBuy categories, then categories will be mapped automatically.

If the title of a BigBuy category do not map with a PrestaShop category, then the admin can create a category with same name in PrestaShop and map it with BigBuy.

Attributes and Carriers

The admin can download attributes & carriers from BigBuy to PrestaShop and then map PrestaShop attributes/carriers with those of BigBuy in the same way he downloaded and mapped categories.

Download BigBuy Attributes

Click on ‘Load Bigbuy attributes’ button to import attributes from BigBuy to PrestaShop.

Click on the ‘start’ button to fetch the attributes.

Once imported, the admin can view a list under ‘Attributes’ tab.

Attribute Mapping

The admin can map PrestaShop attributes with BigBuy attributes by clicking on ‘Auto sync BigBuy attributes’ button.

Based on the name, the attributes are mapped i.e. if the name of prestaShop attributes will match with those of BigBuy attributes, then attributes will be mapped automatically.

If the name of a BigBuy attribute do not map with a PrestaShop attribute, then the admin can create a attribute with same name in PrestaShop and map it with BigBuy.

Download BigBuy Carriers

Click on ‘Import Bigbuy carriers’ button to import carriers from BigBuy to PrestaShop.

Click on the ‘start’ button to fetch the carriers.

Once imported, the admin can view a list under ‘Carriers’ tab.

Carrier Mapping

The admin can map PrestaShop carriers with BigBuy attributes by clicking on ‘Auto sync BigBuy carriers’ button.

Based on the name, the carriers are mapped i.e. if the name of prestaShop carriers will match with those of BigBuy attributes, then carriers will be mapped automatically.

If the name of a BigBuy carrier do not map with a PrestaShop carrier, then the admin can create a carrier with same name in PrestaShop and map it with BigBuy.

The admin can start importing products from BigBuy to Prestashop once he has imported categories, attributes, and carries.

Products

Click on ‘Import product’ button to import products from BigBuy to prestaShop.

The admin can choose to import products from BigBuy to PrestaShop via product ID or SKU.

Import product by ID

Specify the ID of a product that you want to import from BigBuy to PrestaShop.

Once imported, the admin can view it under ‘Products’.

Import product by SKU

Specify the SKU of a product that you want to import from BigBuy to PrestaShop.

The admin can view imported products in catalog section.

Orders

Under this tab, the admin can view a list of all the orders that have been placed for the imported products.
