Prestashop Avail Free Shipping

Do you want to provide your customers with free shipping globally? If yes, then our module “Prestashop Avail Free Shipping” will give you a hassle-free experience while doing so.

With the help of our module i.e. “Avail Free Shipping”, you can not only provide an option of free shipping across continents but you’ll also be able to manage them through various conditions.

NOTE: The module is Prestashop Multi-Shop Compatible.

• Show/hide tax & handling charges on the cart or checkout page.
• Enable free shipping in the selected zones & countries.
• Select shipping methods on which conditions will apply.
• Choose a buyer group to restrict it to a few people.
• Enable or disable particular conditions as per requirement.
• Add custom messages along with images to show the deficit amount for availing of free shipping offers.
• Choose to show the message on multiple pages like the product page, cart page & checkout page.
• Add Shipping amount to evaluate shipping discounts.
• Specify the minimum and maximum range for Price and Weight in condition.
• Select products for shipping discount in condition.
• Give a voucher for the shipping amount to the customer via mail when the order is placed.
• Offer free shipping for the full amount or half of the existing shipping amount.

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

After the successful installation of the module, the admin needs to configure the module.

Global Settings

Global shipping discount: If enabled, then free shipping will be applied globally when other conditions will meet.

Minimum cart value for shipping discount: Specify minimum cart value to avail of free shipping.

Display free shipping message: If enabled, then free shipping message will display until the shopping cart gets empty.

Include the shipping cost in cart value to evaluate eligibility of shipping discount: Enable to include the shipping cost in the total cart value to make eligible for shipping discount.

Choose page to show message: Here admin can choose the page to show the message of the deficit amount to avail free shipping.

Calculate discounted price to evaluate eligibility of shipping discount: If enabled, then product discounted price will be considered for free shipping.

Free shipping based on price and weight range: If enabled, then free shipping will be offered when the price and weight range conditions are met.

General Settings

Provide discount voucher of shipping amount: Enable to provide the discount voucher instead of instant shipping discount.

Message text for discount voucher: Enter the message for the discount voucher to display on the selected pages.

Order status to activate discount voucher: Select the order status to activate the discount voucher.

Shipping discount type: Select the discount type, either full shipping free, or half of the actual shipping fee.

Message text/background color: Set the message text/background color from here.

Message text for free/half shipping: Enter the message for free or half shipping to display on the selected pages.

Upload image: Upload the image to display the message.

After specifying the conditions, for free shipping, a message of the deficit amount to avail of free shipping will show on the following pages.

• Product Page
• Cart Page
• Checkout Page

The message will only show on all the above three pages if all are selected from configuration settings.

After specifying the conditions for providing a shipping voucher a message of the deficit amount to avail of the Discount Voucher will show on the pages.

The message will only show on the pages selected from configuration settings. For example, currently, we have chosen to show the message on the Product Page and Cart Page.

After specifying the conditions for providing a voucher for half of the shipping amount a message of the deficit amount to avail of the Discount Voucher will show on the pages.

The message will only be shown on the pages selected from the configuration settings. For example, currently, we have chosen to show the message on the Cart Page.

Customer’s Voucher

In the customer’s my account section, the customer also can see their voucher, generated against the free shipping offer.

A new tab to manage plans pertaining to the module will be added just after installation completes.

Now admin can easily add new conditions to limit free shipping to specific customers, countries, zone, or shipping methods.

The list of conditions will be available to the admin for future reference.

In order to add a new condition, click on the “New Condition” button.

A new tab as shown in the above image, will open for filling in the necessary details.

After adding new conditions, the following changes will be observed at the front end.

Here the address selected is of ‘United States’ hence shipping becomes free according to conditions defined previously.

Now address that is being selected is ‘India’, hence shipping is charged accordingly.

Here shipping will be charged according to the settings defined in the “Carrier” section.

Free shipping based on price and weight range

As enabled by the admin under Global Settings, free shipping will be eligible if price and weight range conditions are met.

Suppose the admin has set $ 50 – $ 150 as price range and 0.5 kg – 5 kg as weight range.

In this way, the admin can offer free shipping to customers based on various parameters.
