Prestashop Apple Pay, AliPay with Stripe Payment

The need to work with more than one gateway becomes very evident as your business expands. The solution is to integrate Prestashop Apple Pay, AliPay with Stripe Payment.

• The module requires an SSL certificate to use Apple Pay option of the module.

• Firstly, Go to the Module Manager in Back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, Drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

Admin need to have their account on Stripe Payment Gateway.

After logging in to the stripe account, go to the API section. Here you can get the secret key and publishable for the test as well as live mode.

After getting these credentials, you need to add them to the configuration.

Alipay & Apple Pay Settings on Stripe

To enable payment via Alipay & Apple Pay using Stripe credentials – You need to Activate Alipay & Apple Pay option on Stripe Dashboard.

Go to Payments -> Settings to Activate Payment via Alipay & Apple Pay.

You need to add your web domain on Apple Pay Settings of Stripe using the stripe credentials. This will allow the Apple Pay option.

To do so, click on the configure button available for the Apple pay option.

After that, proceed to add a new domain.

Click on Add New Domain and a Pop-up menu appears. Enter your PrestaShop domain to enable payment via Apple Pay.

After installing the module successfully, you need to configure the module.

There are three sections to the Configuration of the Module.

API Configuration Block

Here Admin can select Test Mode or Live Mode that he wants to use. Admin will enter the Stripe Secret key and Publishable key as received from Stripe.

Payment Configuration Block

Here admin has an option to enable /disable any payment option as per the requirement.

Apple Pay Configuration Block

If you enable payment by Apple Pay from the payment configuration, then this block will be visible. Here, admin can choose to enable or disable the Instant Pay option.

In case, if you enable Instant Pay option. Then, admin can also select pages where Instant Pay will be available. Admin can select some or all the pages for Instant pay via Apple Pay.

Options are as follows :

• Product Page
• Home Page
• Category Page

In this way, you can configure the module successfully.

Suppose admin has enabled all payment methods. Then in such a case, all payment methods are available for the customers.

After selecting the stripe payment option, when a customer proceed to complete the order, he gets redirected to a third party page where he needs to enter the card details to complete the order.

A customer can also choose to pay via Alipay. In order to do so, he just need to select the payment option & proceed.

This is how a customer can pay via various payment modes.

If the admin allows it, then a customer can also pay via Apple Pay.

Note –  This option will be available only on Apple devices.

To make this payment option available, you must save at least one card details on your apple device.

A customer can easily make payment via Apple Pay through saved card details.

Select the Apple Pay option to make payment via Apple Pay and the saved cards will be shown. Select the Card with which you want to make the payment. After that proceed using Finger Touch validation on your Apple Device.

The Module also gives you an amazing functionality of Instant Payment or One Touch Payment.

Now you can see the Instant Pay option on the homepage, product page, and the category page.

If allowed in Module Configuration, Instant Pay option will be visible on Product Page.

If allowed in Module Configuration, Instant Pay option will be visible on Home Page.

INSTANT PAY from Category Page

If allowed in Module Configuration, Instant Pay option will be visible on Category Page.

All you need to do is click on the Apple pay option to place the order.

After the installation of the module, a new tab Transactions is added to Prestashop Back-office.

You can view a list of transactions under this tab.

Admin can also refund (full or partial) the customer’s amount from this tab.

Specify the refund amount in case of partial refund.
