Prestashop Add Product Images Using Google Search helps online stores enhance product pages with high-quality visuals that attract customers and drive sales.

This module allows store owners to search and upload relevant product images directly from the PrestaShop back office with ease.

• Add images to your catalog products using Google search.
• Choose to show the web option during search.
• Option to preview the images before uploading them to products.

• Compatible with the PrestaShop Multi-store feature.

1. Go to the back office -> Modules -> Module Manager.
2. Now, click on the “Upload a module” button and select the module’s zip file.
3. In this way, the module gets installed on PrestaShop.

Under the Module configuration, the admin:

• Needs to specify Google search engine Id that he received from https://programmablesearchengine.google.com/about/
• Can choose to show the web option during search.
• Can enable or disable the display of resolution and brand/author URL below the image that he searched and added using Google.

For getting the Google Search Engine Id you have to visit https://programmablesearchengine.google.com/about/

Now click on “Get started” button. On clicking the button, you redirect to the Google accounts page where you need to sign in to your Google account.

After specifying the name of the websites on which you want to search the product images and search engine name, click on the create button.

You can also customize the search engine as per need by clicking on Control Panel.

Select the “Full Width” layout for the module and customize the search bar by setting its font and border & background color.

For PrestaShop 9.1.0 and above

Once you have configured the module, navigate to Catalog -> Products ->Edit Product -> Add product images using Google search.

Then, enter the keywords related to the product for which you want to search the images on Google.

Clicking the search button will display product-related images on the product page.

After the search results appear, the admin can preview an image by clicking the View button located below it.

The admin can also upload an image to the product by clicking the Upload button below the image. Additionally, the configured resolution for each image is displayed in the results.

If enabled by the admin from the back office, the web option will also be available during the search process.

After the product image is uploaded, it can also be viewed under the Basic Settings tab.

For PrestaShop below 9.1.0

Simply go to Catalog -> Products ->Edit Product -> Modules. Enter the keywords related to the product for which you want to search the images from Google.

When you click on the search button, images related to the product get displayed on the product page as shown below:

Once you get the search results, you can:

• Preview the image by clicking on the view button mentioned below the image.
• Upload the image to the product by clicking on the upload button below the image.

You can also view the resolution of each image as configured.

As enabled by the admin from the back office, the web option will also display at the time of search.

After uploading the product image, you can also view it under the “Basic Settings” tab as shown below.
