It’s a celebration of prosperity, wealth and health. One of the most auspicious festival of India. Here at Webkul, Diwali event is organised every year with lots of enthusiasm and excitement. The main purpose of this function to bring together every individual to celebrate, to know each other, to share a bond of single entity as We are one…We are Webkul !
It was started with fun game in order to grab the attention and to create vibe for the day. It was started with ‘blow the balls’ game in which each individual was provided two balls of different colour where they have to choose one ball and blow them out of the plate without disturbing other; winners were awarded chocolates to cherish their win. With this chocolatey win, event headed towards experiencing bundle of fun and action.
After that a very interesting game was conducted which was ‘Number Action’. This game was best to judge how focus one is towards minor details which also helps them in everyday management of their work. Pairs were made and they were instructed to perform certain actions on some numbers. Only condition was if any of the person did that action sequence wrong then that pair was eliminated from round. Winners were provided goodies full of exciting eating stuffs.
Freshers fill the organisation with energetic vibes. These fresh and new talents introduces a different perspective of work approach. Therefore, we decided to bring them in front and to introduce them with webkul family. Little twist was added in order to make it more interesting. Some cards of Ace, King, Queen, Jack were introduced with some task. As they have to share recent, funniest, childhood or travel experience depending upon the card. We put every employee in the centre and provides them opportunity to share their perception as well as experience
Diwali is known for playing cards and tambola. We arranged tambola for all attendees. Random numbers were picked and every one was excited to yell ‘Mine is completed ’ as achieving rows completion and one houseful were on fire among all. Luck was hard as only 4 were the winners among crowd. A tough competition was there at the moment.
It is aptly said that “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well”. Hence, it was very important to enjoy delicious food after some fun activities. Lunch was organised for employees with proper north Indian delicacies to make their day more tasteful.
After having lunch we resumed to other event which was Fancy dress competition based on diwali theme. As we do believe in optimise usage of resources, newspapers were provided to all the teams. This activity was to enhance their creative skill and introduce them again to the childhood fun which usually disappers in busy schedule of work life. Although, teams were very creative they made different versions of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi from available resources. Winning team was decided on the basis of most creative grounds.
“Style is something each of us already has, all we need to do is find it.” Webkul provides opportunity not only to enhance working skills but also in other arenas as well. Ramp walk was organised for male and female employees to show their inner fashionista. Winner was decided on live voting by audience and crowned as ‘Ramp King’ ‘Ramp Queen’.
Last activity was Rangoli making where respective teams decorated Webkul with the combination of beautiful colors. It is consider as a symbol of happiness and prosperity. Colors are power driven factors that influences human mind. Diwali celebration is never complete without colorful rangolis.
Being a second home, Webkul was filled with pleasing vibrant rangolis. So, the day ended with lots of mesmerising memories and the event was wrapped on a good note with uncountable chitchats, giggles, laughs and bond of togetherness.
