    POB: Stock Handling

    POB: Stock Handling: 

    If you are using the Prestashop Openerp Bridge(POB) base module and you update product’s stock or create purchase orders in openerp then this module helps in managing and maintaining an integrity between product’s stock in openERP and Prestashop.

    If by any reason your Prestashop’s server is down or there is any connection issue while connecting Prestashop from openERP, and the real time stock update does not take place from openERP to Prestashop, then POB Stock Handling module is here to help you out. Using this module you will get to know about all failed stock  synchronization from openERP to Prestashop and you can manually export/update the stocks of products for failed synchronization.

    Main Features:

    • Helps in maintaining integrity in product’s stock on OpenERP and Prestashop.
    • Failed real-time stock updates can be easily tracked.
    • It allows you to manually re-run the request to update stock for failed real-time update of stock.

    Installation Process:

    POB – Stock Handling module is for openERP end only. this module supports standard process of module installation on openERP. You just need to copy the modules into your openERP addons directory. Path of openERP directory will depend on your openERP installation. After this you need to update the module list. After this go to “setting -> installed modules”, remove the default ‘installed’ filter and search for ‘pob_stock_handling’ and you will get the module into the list. Then install it by clicking the install button.

    Working of the module:

    Once you successfully install the module you will find a new menu option named ‘POB: Stock handling’ has appended into the POB Mappings Table’ menu. On clicking this  menu you will get the list of all failed synchronization in which product’s stock was not updated to prestashop automatically.These records will be visible in red color.

    These records will provide you complete information of the failed stock synchronization from openERP to Prestashop. In these records you will find the product for which sync failed, number of quantities of products which were not synchronized automatically.

    A default filter is set which will show only the failed synchronization. Once you get the list of failed synchronizations you can manually update them to prestashop. To do this update select all or selected records which you want to export, click on ‘More’ button and you will get an option of ‘Synchronize Product Stock’ . Click this and product’s stock will be updated to Prestashop. If the selected stocks are successfully updated to  Prestashop, their state will change and they will no longer be in red color.

    A selection field (Product’s Stock Type) is provided in the “Configuration page” where you could choose which quantity to be used for synchronization.

    For manual or bulk export of product stock a button (“Update Product’s Stock”) is provided in the “Synchronize Now ” menu which replaces the prestashop product’s stock with the current stock of that product in odoo.

    Summary:

    Now you do not need to worry about any failure in stock updates from Openerp to Prestashop. In any case of failure this module will help you to re-run the stock update process and remove any mis-matches in product’s stock.

    How to tracking number update in odoo to prestashop , after delivery order i created the carrier tracking ref but in prestashop its not updated

      Our module does have feature to export/update tracking reference from Odoo to Prestashop, but it seems that you might be using an older version of our Bridge module.
      Moreover this is not the right place to tackle the issue. please raise a ticket at our ticket portal and concerned developer will assist you with your issues.
