Opencart Dropship Image Variation Importer: This module allows you to import the image variation (Color options) while importing the product to Opencart from the Aliexpress store.

Earlier we can import the product with options as text only from AliExpress to the Opencart store but now there is an option to import the color variations as text/image. This add-on is created for AliExpress.

This add-on will allow you to import color options as text/image along with the product from AliExpress to the Opencart store.

Now the customers will get exactly the same image variations of the products as it is present on AliExpress Marketplace.

Note: This extension is an add-on to Webkul’s Opencart AliExpress Dropship Management Module, so to use this extension you need to install it first.

Installation: Opencart Dropship Image Variation Importer

First, extract the downloaded zip file. After that, open the correct Opencart Version Folder. According to Opencart Version installed in your system.

Then, upload the admin, and catalog to the Opencart root directory.

Once you have uploaded the file then login to admin and go to Extensions > Extension Installer and upload the .zip file- wk_dropship_variation_image.ocmod.zip. The zip file can be found in the ocmod folder for 3.x.x.x version and .xml file for 2.x.x.x version.

After uploading the zip file go to the Extensions > Modification and click on the refresh field.

After that, go to System > Users > Usergroups. And then edit ‘Administrator’. Select the shown checkboxes for both Access Permission and Modify Permission and Save it.

Now navigate to Extensions > Extensions > Modules. Find Drop Shipping Variation Image from the list. Click the Install button as visible in the screenshot below.

After the successful installation of the extension Opencart Dropship Image Variation Importer. To configure the extension. Firstly, in the sidebar menu go to Extensions > Extensions > Modules.

Further, click on the edit button next to Drop Shipping Variation Image.

After clicking on the edit button that navigates to the below settings:

How To Import The AliExpress Product Into Your Store 

Go to the AliExpress website “https://www.aliexpress.com” and navigate to the products. Here, while hovering your mouse on the products at the category and the product page the store owner can see the icon for the “AliExpress product Importer“.

Here, the store owner can import single or bulk products to the store. To import the products in bulk just select the products and click on the Bulk Import. 

Also, the store owner can import a single product by clicking on the arrow sign on the product.

Clicking the Importer icon brings up the section with the product details. Here, the admin can edit the product details as per his need, select the images to keep, and can also set the price, Color option type of the product and its variations.

Now, click the Submit button on this pop-up as shown below in the snapshot.

Now, after clicking the Submit button above you need to authenticate your store first before you can import the products. Just enter the URL and other aliexpress credentials from the admin back-end.

**Note: Please Make Sure The Store URL Must Be Https(SSL Enabled) To Import Products From AliExpress.

Also, to get the credential to navigate to Warehouse Management> Aliexpress Configuration and get the credentials.

Now enter these credentials (Username and Token) to the aliexpress chrome extension as shown in the image below-

Lastly, click the “Submit” button in the above snapshot your store will be authenticated and you will see a success message “Product Successfully Imported” after the product is successfully been imported.

Customer View- Opencart Dropship Image Variation Importer

Now in the front-end, the customer can view the image variation option available and the customer can select the color and image variation that will apply to the main product image.

The customer can select the size, quantity, and color and add the product to the cart to place an order.

Now the customer can place an order by proceeding to checkout by filling in the billing details, delivery details, delivery method, payment method, and then confirm the order.

The order details will display in the order information section under the order history option in his account.
