Prerequisites For Using Odoo AI Dashboard
The Odoo AI Dashboard works in conjunction with the following module:
- Python >3.8.1 Is required to install the dependencies
- Install requirements.txt, pip3 install -r odoo_ai_dashboard/requirements.txt
- Generate Groq API key
- Generate OpenAi API Key
The user must have LLM provider API keys for integration

Installation
- Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
- Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘odoo_ai_dashboard’
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
- Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
- Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
- In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘odoo_ai_dashboard’
- You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

Workflow
Configuration
- Once you complete the installation of Odoo AI Dashboard, log in as admin. Click on AI Dashboard, then go to the Configuration tab.
- After clicking on the configuration tab , dropdown will open containing 2 options, LLM i.e large language model and Flatten table.
3. Click on LLM to find out existing LLM’s or to create a new large language provider.
4. Click on ‘new’ to create a new large language provider and enter the name and the API key of the provider
5. Now, again click on configuration and on the dropdown menu , click on ‘flatten table’, to find out existing tables or to make a new table.
6. Click on ‘new’ to create a new flatten table and fill in all the details of the table , and what modules you want in the table and click on create table.

7. When you create the table, click on ‘Sync’ to sync all the details in the backend.
The system syncs the information.
8. Now, click on the ‘schema’ tab in the navigation bar , to check out the existing schema, create a schema or check the status of schema.
9. Click on ‘new’ to create a new schema and fill all the details of the schema accordingly and then click on ‘train’, to train the AI about the database.
* Note- only one schema can be trained at a time, so existing schemas should be in an inactive stage in order to train the current/new schema. * |
Searching queries and creating visual representations
10. Go to AI dashboard ,click on search and search about the details you need . For eg- ‘top 10 accounts’ and enter the details.
11. Select any option for how the details should be visualized. Various options are available, such as bar chart, pie chart, funnel chart, etc.
The system also converts the search query into an SQL query, which you can check out.
- Now, click on “Add to Dashboard,” and the system will automatically add the chart to the AI dashboard.
Using this module the user can create an interactive dashboard in just a few minutes with the help of AI .
