    Odoo Website News Feed Management


    Odoo News Feed Management Module allows you to infuse news feed on your Odoo website. It allows you to Display news Feed on Odoo website. The Odoo user can add relevant news article through feeds on the Odoo website. The news feed can be added on any webpage.

    The Odoo user can create News Feed templates in the Odoo backend and place them on the webpage. The snippets can be added individually or as a panel of three snippets aligned horizontally.

    • Moreover, the admin can select a different banner image for each feed.


    1.) Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.

    2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_feed_management’.

    3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.

    4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.

    5.) Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.

    6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_feed_management’.

    7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.


    1.) In Odoo, navigate through Website >> E-commerce >>  Website Feeds. Here, click on Create.

    2.) Select an appropriate featured image for the news feed. Then enter the title of the News Feed.

    3.) Next, under description add the short and long description for the News Feed.

    4.) Click, on Banner and add the banner image of the New Feed.

    5.) Now, choose the sequence number for the New Feed. The sequence number will assign the position of the News Feed on the Website.

    6.) You would need to publish the News Feed to make it visible on the website.

    7.) Now, go to the website and click on Edit.

    8.) Drag and drop the Feeds Block on the website page.

    9.) The Block adds the snippets according to the total news feed snippets which have published status in the Odoo.

    10.) Say, you have created 5 News Feed snippets out of which only three are in publish state. Then, the Block automatically selects 5 News Feed snippets.

    11.) Once done, click on save.

    12.) Click on any News feed to open it.

    Please Note: If you wish to make any changes to the current news Feed panel on the website such as add a new snippet to the panel or change the sequence of the News Feeds, you would need to delete the entire panel and drag and drop a new one from the customization bar.
