The Odoo News Feed Management Module allows you to integrate news feeds on your Odoo website. You can display news feeds on the Odoo website using this tool. 

In the Odoo backend, the user can create news feed templates and add them to the website. 

This Odoo module uses professionally made news feed panels to display the most recent events in your store and store community on the Odoo website.

Before going live, the Odoo administrator can customize the feed layouts and content in the backend.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the app from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named ‘website_feed_management’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo app and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_feed_management’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1. In Odoo, navigate through Website >> Configuration >> Website Feeds. Here, click on New.

2. Select an appropriate featured image for the newsfeed. Then enter the title of the news feed and choose the sequence number for the new feed.

Next, under description, add the short and long descriptions for the News Feed.

Make sure to publish the news feed to make it visible on the website.

3. Click on Banner and add the banner image of the new feed.

4. Now, go to the website and click on Edit.

5. Drag and drop the Feeds Block on the website page.

6. The Block adds the snippets according to the total news feed snippets that have published status in the Odoo.

7. Say, you have created 5 Newsfeed snippets out of which only three are in the publish state. Then, the Block automatically selects 5 Newsfeed snippets.

8. Once done, click on save.

9. Click on any News feed to open it.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to make any changes to the current newsfeed panel on the website such as add a new snippet to the panel or change the sequence of the Newsfeeds, you would need to delete the entire panel and drag and drop a new one from the customization bar.
