INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_first_order_discount’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_first_order_discount’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW CONFIGURATION

1. Login into the website admin and visit the ‘Website Addons settings.’

2. After clicking it, find ‘Website: First Purchase Discount’ and configure it.

3. During configuration you can add the discount percentage and choose to add a default popup or customized popup with text provided by you.

In the first box, the admin can set the discount percentage. By the second box, the admin can choose the default popup by ticking the box.

4. Now go to ‘Settings‘ and locate ‘Users’ under ‘Users and Companies’.

5. From here you will be able to see all the users and new users at the top.

6. Now, Go to ‘Sales‘ and click the product section and find First Purchase Discount to see the cost and sale price set to Zero.

7. Also, the admin can see the invoice with the first purchase discount already deducted as a promotion program for new customers.
