Odoo Website Advanced Bundle Product

INTRODUCTION

Bundle products are multiple individual products or services which are marketed as one integrated package to the customer. Often referred to as ‘Package-deals’, bundle products in Website are generally composed of complementary products or, less commonly, related items.

Odoo Website Advanced bundle Product grants the customers choice to pick the package according to their wishes. Select the types of inputs in the backend to give clients on the website several selection choices. With this module Customers on your website can easily pick, drop and then choose products from the product page in the package. Enable them to configure the package until they attach it to your cart. You may give your customers versatility in selecting the packages according to their wish.

Odoo Website Advanced Bundle Product let your customers customize the product bundle as they want. Moreover, it helps you to upsell and cross sell products.

You can use one or all of the types of inputs in Odoo Website Bundle Product:
1)Radio
2)Optional
3)Required Items with the bundle
4)Required options
5)Add-On and Accessories Item

FEATURES

1. The module lets you create a completely customizable Odoo product bundle.
2. Add several different options to a single Bundle of Odoo product. The user or consumer can pick and configure the package from these various choices.
3. This feature works for both website as well as Odoo backend.
4. Separate menu is created to show Odoo consumer the list of product packages.
5. In website cart, the customer can access and edit the details of the products. Based on the package constraints, some products can not be editable.
6. The configuration choices are shown on the product page of products.
7. The sales order line displays descriptions of the product which the customer has purchased from the product package. Likewise website orders indicate which items were ordered from the package of goods.
8. This module is multi-website compatible.
9. The customers can look up the details in his/her website account of the ordered product package.

INSTALLATION

1.) Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘advanced_bundle_product’.
3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5.) Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘advanced_bundle_product’.
7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Admin view :

1) Firstly login to Odoo database to go to the ‘Website’ module.

2)In Website module go to Product>>Advanced Product Bundle>>Bundled Products.

3)Click on ‘Create’ button on Advanced Bundle page to create a new bundle product.

4)Add Product Name, Product Type, Product Category in the ‘General Information’ tab.

5)Then add the bundle details in the ‘Advance Bundle Product’. Select the type of Advance Bundle from Radio, Required, Optional, Required(Optional), Add on and Accessories.

Once you add the required details in the pop up a bundle line will be created automatically.

6)Click on ‘Save’ button to save the bundle.

7)Once you save the bundle product you will be able to see the bundle on website.

8)Click on ‘Add to Cart’ to proceed for payment on website. On checkout page you will be able to see the number of units selected from the Bundle product.
