An SMS can bridge the gap between the companies and customers. The beauty of text messages is that it makes a personal connection between e-commerce business and customers. In addition, sending SMS personally can provide the feedback of the customers quickly.
Webkul’s Odoo Skebby SMS notification allows you to send either single or bulk SMS to the prospective clients to the prospective clients.
- This application provides required SMS gateway facility to “SMS Notification” application for sending SMS notification to the mobile number.
- Skebby Gateway module is able for sending text SMS directly to the customers, suppliers, buyers, any partners or any mobile number.
- Send group SMS or single SMS using Skebby SMS gateway.
- Track status of all SMS send by Skebby SMS gateway
Workflow of the module
After the installation, we will proceed with the workflow of the module
Initially, just configure the module by clicking on the “Configure SMS Gateway Account”. For this follow the path Settings>General Settings.
Follow the path General Settings> Gateway Configuration> Create and fill all the relevant details like Description, Priority, Debugging, Registered Mobile. Number etc.
Fill all the relevant details like Description, Priority, Debugging, SMS Gateway, Skebby Username, Skebby Password and finally click on “Test Connection” button to connect both the platforms i.e Odoo and Skebby SMS Gateway.
One more important step is to enable “Enable SMS feature” option.
Follow the path SMS>SMS Group to create a new SMS Group and fill all the fields required for creating the SMS Groups.
After creating the SMS Group, the next step is to send SMS to a particular group. Similarly, you can send SMS to Multiple Members and Individual Members.
Sent SMS and Delivery SMS report is maintained for the SMS sent and delivered to a particular member.
SMS also create the customer loyalty and customer retention. Every business sends their loyal customers a marketing text within flash sales in order to attract them towards their business. This strategy will help the customers to look forward to the text messages.
