Search Panel for the easiest way to filter the objects in Odoo!

Odoo is a perfect software to manage all your business related problems; hence, such perfection requires an easy way to search whatever you want.

Now you can easily create the custom search panel in every model of Odoo with a user-friendly view.

Odoo Search Panel allows you to create custom search panels for different models in Odoo. These search panels make it easy for the Odoo users to filter out the objects as per their wish. You can add the fields for any model in Odoo to add the search panel in the model.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘odoo_searchpanel’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘odoo_searchpanel’. You will be able to see the module in the search result.
7. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1) Login to your Odoo instance and enable the developer mode.

2) Now, click on the ‘Technical‘ tab and select the ‘Icons’ menu.

3) Click on the create button; here, you can add Font Awesome Text Icon for better UI

4) Now, click on the ‘Technical‘ tab and select the ‘Search Panel Configuration‘ menu.

5) Click on the create button to create search panel in any model. Here, you need to add the View Name, Model Description, and add field lines to add the filters in the search panel. The field lines include the data Field, its Label, its Type, icon, etc.

6) To check out how the created search panel will look; open the model for which you have created the search panel.
