INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, people do not much prefer to carry cash in order to make purchases. Since digital transactions are accepted all over the markets.
The customers rather go towards digital payments while making purchases in stores as this is a convenient way of transaction. Also, for the business, it becomes really difficult to manage transactions via cash.
Similarly, working with POS you should also have the tools to accept the payments when your customers prefer to pay with the help of online payment methods via scanning the QR code.
Therefore, to make your payments easier, we have come up with the Odoo POS Paypal Payment Acquirer module. It adds the feature to accept payments using Paypal in your Odoo POS. Moreover, the module also comes-up with a newly added feature of a secondary customer-facing display screen to facilitate customer convenience & quicker checkout.

INSTALLATION
1.) Once you purchase the Odoo POS Paypal Payment Acquirer module from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_paypal_payment_acquirer’.
3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5.) Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_paypal_payment_acquirer’.
7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
WORKFLOW
Back-end
1. using Odoo POS Paypal Payment Acquirer, initially, login to your Odoo database and navigate to the Point Of Sale app.
2. Now, navigate to the ‘PayPal Configuration’.
3. Click on the ‘Create’ button to create a new PayPal configuration.
4. Add the name of the PayPal and add the ‘API Key’ and hit the save button.
5. Now, navigate to the ‘POS Payment Screen Configuration’ sub menu under the ‘POS Payment Screen’ menu.
6. Here you can configure the ‘POS Payment Screen’ which will be visible for the customers.
7. Go to the ‘POS Payment Transactions’ tab to see the transactions.
8. Here you can see all the transactions that have taken place so far.
9. This is the view of an individual transaction.
10. Now, navigate to the settings of POS session by clicking on the ellipsis.
11. Here select the between these two payment mediums under the ‘Connect Devices’ section.
Select the ‘POS Payment’ option to get the QR code on the POS screen only.
Or, select the ‘On Payment Screen’ option to show the QR code on the customer facing screen.
12. Now, you can launch the POS session to use the module on the POS front-end.
Front-end
13. While making a payment, select the ‘Paypal’ payment method among all.
14. Then, a QR code will be visible on the same screen. (If configured as ‘POS Payment’ from the back-end).
15. The QR code will be visible on the customer facing screen. (If configured as ‘On Payment Screen’ from the back-end).
16. In the last, the payment confirmation message will come up on the POS after the successful payment.
