Odoo POS Date & Time Format

Printing date & time on receipt helps the customer as well as cashier both for future reference. Suppose, a customer purchases something and then wants to return it due to any reason. “Odoo POS Date & Time Format” module facilitates the POS user to make the date & time format more attractive. The module provides multiple formats for modifying the date and time that will be appearing on the order receipt as well. Moreover, you can create different formats for date & time the same it be appearing on the receipt.

INSTALLATION

1.) Once you purchase the Odoo POS Date & Time Format module From Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.

2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- “pos_datetime_format”.

3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.

4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.

5.) Then, open on the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.

6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search “pos_datetime_format”.

7.) Now you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

(1). Initially login to you Odoo interface, then navigate to the POS module.

(2). Click on the ellipsis and go to settings of POS session you want to modify the date & time.

(3). Now scroll down under “Bills and receipts” tab and click on “Date & time” to modify the date and time as you want.

(4). The selected date and time format will be displayed on POS receipt.
