Whenever customers search for a product on the Marketplace, they mainly search for product descriptions and specifications before purchasing it. To maintain good sales and profits, sellers should definitely provide this information on the frontend. Webkul offers Odoo Marketplace Custom Product Tabs Module that shows extra details of the product on the website using product tabs.

This module will allow you to create tabs for his own products. You can add additional information that your customers expect to find in your products. With this module, you will have no more limitations to add tabs and your customers will have the most detailed product information.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_custom_product_tabs’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
5. Now, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘marketplace_custom_product_tabs’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Admin View

1. Once the installation is completed, visit the Odoo Seller Dashboard app from the backend and follow the path Products>>Create new product.

2. Here, you can create a new product by entering the product name, website product category, etc. The custom product tab can be aligned either horizontal or vertical as shown below.

3. Click on the ‘Add a line‘ option to add different tabs for a product. Enter the name, sequence, and content and save the information.

4. Now, login as seller and follow the path Seller Dashboard>> Products>> Create new product.

5. Here, create a new product by entering the product name, website product category, etc. The custom product tab can be aligned either horizontal or vertical as shown below.

6. Click on the ‘Add a line‘ option to add different tabs for a product. Enter the name, sequence, and content and save the information.

7. Once you make tabs from the backend, you can see them on the frontend of the website as shown below.

8. Like this, you will be able to set custom product tabs and enhance the shopping experience of your customers.
