FEATURES 

  1. The Odoo Marketplace COD module offers Cash on Delivery to customers using Odoo Marketplace.
  2. It enables sellers to attract new customers through the Odoo COD feature.
  3. Admins can easily set up and configure the payment option with a simple, single-step integration.
  4. Configure the cash-on-delivery option from the Odoo backend by setting the maximum COD value.
  5. This Odoo app allows COD based on geographical regions and enables COD selectively for specific countries.
  6. From the Odoo backend, administrators can establish a global commission rate for marketplace sellers in the payment terms settings.
  7. Cash on delivery orders are processed on the Odoo marketplace, with transactions logged in the Odoo backend.
  8. The seller can pay the remaining amount with the admin.

INSTALLATIONS

  1. Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_cod_seller_payment’.
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can also activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL.
  5. Now, open the Apps menu and click ‘Update Modules List’.
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘marketplace_cod_seller_payment’.
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

ADMIN INTERFACE

Under the Marketplace setting, Configure the global commission and click on “Save.”

Now follow the path: “Invoicing” >> “Configuration” >> “Payment”>> “Payment Provider”. 

Here you will find a list of all the payment providers available. Select “COD”.

Under the Credential tab, Enable the COD payment method and configure the COD availability rule.

After that, under the Configuration tab set the support payment icons, payment journal, etc., and save it.

WEBSITE INTERFACE 

Visit the front end of the Odoo Marketplace and place an order for a product that is available for COD.

On the checkout page, you will be able to see the COD option Selected for payment. Click on “Pay now”.

SELLER INTERFACE 

Navigate through “Seller Dashboard” >> “Sale” >> “Orders” to open the created Sale order.

Follow the steps “Approve” >> “Ship Now” >> “Validate” to Validate the order from the seller’s end.

ADMIN INTERFACE

On the admin end, open the order quotation and select “Create Invoice.” 

After that a pop will appear click “Create and view invoice” after selecting the regular invoice.

After that, follow the steps. “Confirm” >> “Register” >> “Register Payment”.

The Register Payment pop-up will appear. Click on “Create Payment.”

A vendor bill is generated on the backend. You can even view the vendor bill for the order, as shown below.

SELLER INTERFACE 

At the seller end, navigate through the “Seller Dashboard” >> “Sales” >> “Pay to admin”.

Fill in the required payment and click on “Pay”.

Now, visit the Odoo seller dashboard app from the backend. Follow the path “Sales” >> “Seller Payments”.

You can see all the details of the Payments and the Payment mode used by the Customer to order a product.
