    Odoo Bridge for Prestashop POS Categories

    INSTALLATION

    Odoo Bridge for Prestashop POS Categories needs to be installed at the Prestashop end only. After downloading, you will get a zip file consisting of the file named ‘prestaerposcategory’.

    Go to menu ‘modules’ and click on ‘add module’, upload the zip file of ‘prestaerposcategory’ module and install it.

    WORKFLOW

    1:- Once the extension gets installed, you need to navigate to the Odoo configuration settings at the Prestashop end in order to enable the POS Category option. As result, you will find the POS-Category option in the additional features. You need to enable this option.

    2:- As a result of the successful installation of Odoo Bridge for Prestashop POS Categories, you will find the addition of two more options in the Odoo mapping at the Prestashop end, ‘Export POS Category’ and ‘Link POS Category’.

    3:- After enabling the POS-Category option in the additional features, you need to navigate to Odoo Mapping and then select the ‘Export POS Category’ option. As a result, the Export POS Category page will get opened. Use the ‘Synchronize’ button in order to synchronize the POS categories from Prestashop to Odoo.

    4:- After exporting the POS categories to the Odoo end, the exported Categories need to be linked. In order to link exported Categories, you need to navigate to Odoo Mapping and then select the ‘Link POS Category’ option. As a result, the Link POS Category page will get opened. Use the link button in order to link the exported categories with Odoo POS categories.

    5:- In order to view the exported POS categories at the Odoo end, you need to Open Odoo POS. After opening POS, you need to navigate to the Configuration and select POS Product Categories. As a result, you will be able to view exported POS categories.
