Odoo BOM delivery slip User Manual

INTRODUCTION

Odoo BOM delivery slips make delivery slips more informative by listing all the products in a BOM KIT. A list of products will be displayed in the delivery slip PDF under the BOM kit name.

With everything clearly listed on the delivery slip, warehouse workers spend less time figuring out what to include in each order. 

Customers get exactly what they ordered, reducing the likelihood of returns or complaints. Plus, they appreciate the transparency of knowing what’s in their package.

FEATURES

1. All the kit products will be listed on the delivery slip.
2. You can download the detailed Delivery slip PDF for BOM KIT.
3. View BOM kit quantities in the delivery slip.
4. The BOM kit name will be displayed.
5. View the delivery slip from the Sale order as well as the inventory section.
6. You can download the BOM delivery slips from the Inventory >> transfers.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the app from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the module zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- wk_bom_delivery_slip.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Apps List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search wk_bom_delivery_slip.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1. Install the module “Odoo BOM delivery slip” at the Apps in Odoo.

2. For the BOM delivery slip, to need to go to sale order >> delivery >> print. You can print the delivery slip in PDF format when you click print.  The PDF will be downloaded within the same browser.

3. You can also download the BOM delivery slips from the inventory module. Go to inventory >> transfer >> open any delivery order >> print.

4. As per Odoo’s default flow, a delivery slip will be generated as shown in the screenshot under the before section, and after using our module the delivery slip will be generated as shown below under the after section.
