Odoo Advance Report Layouts help the business convenience to manage reports efficiently. With this module, Business admins can create an attractive and informative report configuration that will be followed for every report generation.

Installation:

  1. After purchasing the module, a link will be provided to download a zip file.
  2. Extract the file and a folder named ‘wk_advance_reports’ will be visible.
  3. Copy the folder to the Odoo add-ons path.
  4. Open the Odoo app, and click on settings. Then, Click on Developer Mode.
  5. Now, open the Apps Menu and click ‘Update Module List’.
  6. At the search bar, remove all filters and search ‘wk_advance_reports’.
  7. And Click on Install for Installation.

Workflow:

Configuration:

  1. After the Successful installation of Odoo Advance Report Layouts. We Need to route to “Odoo Settings >> User & Companies >> Report Layouts“.
Config

  1. You can view already created Layouts. To Create a new layout click on “New”, The page will be redirected to the Report Layout configuration page.
  2. Fill in the required Configurations for the Report to be generated. Add the report type from Option “Model Report Type” and Click on add a line button.

  1. Now a pop page saying “Create Layout Page” will Appear and we need to add configurations as required. Click on Save and Close. If you want to continue making more Layout types click on Save and New.

  1. To use the Configured reports with Company information. We need to create/Configure Companies for the report.
  2. To Create a company navigate to “Odoo Settings >> User & Companies >> Companies”. Click on “New” to create a new Company configuration.

  1. Fill in the required details for the company and Select the report Type with Report Template (which We have already created from points number 2 to 4). Click on the Save button.

  1. To preview All configurations and designs on the report, route to “Odoo Settings >> User & Companies >> Report Layouts”. Open the created Report Layout.
  2. You can see the Model Report Layout and click on the Preview option on any of the configured report types.
