The Bagisto multi-tenant ecommerce platform turns one Bagisto store into a complete ecommerce solution, where every merchant who signs up gets their own store, plan, design and billing cycle.
The latest release turns Bagisto into a full multi-tenant ecommerce platform, going far beyond simply handing out stores. It adds a full subscription engine, four premium storefront designs, automatic notifications and a dedicated insights screen – so you sell plans, meter what each allows and watch revenue from one screen, while merchants upgrade, pick a design and download invoices on their own.
Every store still stays completely separate, so one multi-tenant ecommerce platform can safely host hundreds of independent merchants. Here is everything that is new, grouped by the part of the platform it touches.
Latest Features of the Bagisto Multi-Tenant eCommerce Platform
Subscriptions and Billing
- Subscription plans with real limits: every plan caps products, categories, attributes, attribute families, channels and monthly orders, and the platform applies those caps as the merchant works.
- Plan offers: attach a discount to any plan, and the old price appears struck through on both your public pricing page and the merchant’s own upgrade screen.
- Multi-currency billing: every plan, subscription and invoice carries its own currency, and you manage currencies and exchange rates in one place.
- A billing area for merchants: your merchants see plan usage meters, past purchases, invoices and their billing address inside their own admin panel.
- Self-service upgrades: merchants compare plans, switch between monthly and yearly pricing, and pay by card or PayPal without contacting you.
- Automatic renewal reminders: trial-ending, renewal, expiry and unpaid-invoice emails go out on their own every day, and the same reminder never sends twice.
Storefront Designs
- Four premium storefront themes: merchants can run Breeze, Fashion, Commercia or Adornments alongside the standard Bagisto design.
- Premium designs as a paid upgrade: a new Premium Themes switch on each plan decides whether that merchant may leave the default design.
- Safe downgrades: when a merchant moves to a plan without premium designs, their storefront quietly returns to the default one instead of breaking.
- Private design content: banners, sliders and promotional blocks belong to the store that created them and appear nowhere else.
Automatic Notifications
- Eleven platform events: the module announces new stores, plan changes and billing outcomes the moment they happen, to any secure web address you choose.
- Verified messages: the module signs every notification, so the receiving tool can confirm the message genuinely came from your platform.
- A full delivery log: the module records every message together with what it sent, what came back and when it will retry.
- Retries and test messages: replay anything that failed, or send a harmless test message to a new address before you rely on it.
Insights and Day-to-Day Management
- Insights screen: sales, orders, active stores and new signups over the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Needs Attention flags: the platform points out stores that have stalled, for example one that signed up but never added a product.
- Store leaderboard: rank every store by sales, orders, average order value and customer count, and download the ranking as a file.
- One-click store login: a Login As Tenant button opens a merchant’s admin panel through a single-use link that expires in 60 seconds.
- Platform-wide lists: browse customers, products and orders across every store from one screen.
Your Platform’s Own Branding
- An editable marketing site: you edit nine content blocks – hero, counters, feature list, pricing and more – from your admin panel, with no design work needed.
- Twenty-two languages: choose which languages your marketing site offers and which one visitors see first.
- Staff accounts, roles and permissions: give your support team access to exactly the screens they need.
- Maintenance mode: take the platform offline for visitors while your own team keeps working.
- Free support forever for bug fixing.
Subscriptions and Billing in the Multi-Tenant eCommerce Platform
Subscriptions are the biggest part of the multi-tenant ecommerce platform, so everything that touches money now sits together: the plans you sell, the limits they carry, the invoices they produce, the billing area merchants manage, and the emails that keep renewals on track.
Plans That Enforce Their Own Limits
Plans are where the platform earns its keep. You can build as many as you like, each with its own name, description, price and status.

The new Plan Limitation section sets six firm limits plus the premium design entitlement. Each limit applies as the merchant works, so a store on a 100-product plan simply cannot add the 101st product.
- Allowed Products: how many products the merchant may keep in their catalog.
- Allowed Categories: how many categories that store may use.
- Allowed Attributes: how many product details, such as size or material, the merchant may define.
- Allowed Attribute Families: how many product templates the merchant may create.
- Allowed Channels: how many separate storefronts the plan includes, which is how you sell multi-store as an upgrade.
- Allowed Orders: the monthly order allowance for that store.
- Premium Themes: set to Included or Not included, and this single switch opens up the whole design suite.

Pricing, Offers and Multiple Currencies
Pricing lives in the Billing Amount panel, which takes a monthly price and a yearly price. The new Offers panel adds a discount to any plan you choose.
An active offer changes what buyers see straight away. The original price appears struck through on both your public pricing page and the merchant’s own upgrade screen, which is exactly how a limited-time promotion should behave.

The module handles currency centrally too. Every plan, subscription and invoice now carries its own currency, and you manage currencies and exchange rates from one place.
Purchased Plans and Invoices
Every purchase creates a subscription record, and the Purchased Plans screen lists them all with the store name, the plan, the amount, the billing period and the current state.

You can cancel a subscription outright, or move a store onto a different plan without asking the merchant to pay again. That makes hand-negotiated and enterprise deals easy to handle.
The Invoices screen records every charge with the customer email, the store name, the total and the expiry date, each in the currency you actually charged.

A Billing Area for Merchants
Everything above is your view of the business. Merchants now get their own Billing menu inside their admin panel, holding Overview, Plans, Invoices and Billing Address.
Plan Overview opens with the current plan, its price, the next billing date, the payment status and the payment method. Below that, a Plan Usage panel draws a progress meter for each of the six limits.
Those meters do more work than they appear to. Because a merchant can see “8 of 50 attributes used” without asking anyone, upgrading becomes a decision they make on their own.

The Plans screen is a complete pricing page inside the admin panel, with a monthly and yearly toggle at the top and the merchant’s current plan called out above the cards.
Each card lists the same six limits plus the premium design entitlement, shown either as Not included or as the number of designs unlocked. One card also carries a Recommended label and a green line summarising exactly what the upgrade adds.

Payment goes through Stripe or PayPal, and merchants can pause, resume, upgrade or cancel their own subscription. Each of those actions also sends you a notification.
The Invoices screen finishes the area with a full billing history, so your support inbox stops receiving invoice requests.

Renewal Reminders That Send Themselves
Revenue leaks quietly when nobody reminds a merchant that their trial ends on Friday. The platform now sends that reminder itself, every day, at four different moments.
- Trial ending: warns a merchant that their free trial is about to finish.
- Renewal coming: lets a merchant know a renewal charge is on the way.
- Subscription expired: tells a merchant their plan has lapsed.
- Invoice overdue: nudges a merchant whose invoice is still unpaid.
The platform keeps track of every reminder it has already sent, so a merchant never receives the same notice twice.
Storefront Designs for Every Merchant
A plan sells a set of limits, but merchants fall in love with the look of their shop. The storefront design suite is the biggest visual addition in this release.
Five Designs Out of the Box
Five storefront designs now ship with the platform: the standard Bagisto Default look plus four premium themes.
- Breeze: a bold, high-contrast layout with oversized lettering, built for lifestyle and specialist retail.
- Fashion: an apparel-focused design that also brings size charts to the merchant’s catalog.
- Commercia: a grocery and daily-needs layout with delivery slots, offer banners and category rows.
- Adornments: a jewellery and boutique design for smaller, higher-value catalogs.
Each one is a complete storefront in its own right, with its own layout, imagery and shopping experience. None of them is a colour change on the default design.
Premium Designs as a Paid Upgrade
A new Premium Themes setting on every plan controls access. Set to Not included, the merchant runs the default look. Set to Included, the whole suite becomes available in their own settings.

The module handles downgrades gently rather than letting a shop break. If a merchant moves to a plan without the premium designs, their storefront simply returns to the default one. No shop is ever left showing a design its owner no longer pays for.
A design change takes effect the moment you refresh the page. Below, the same store is shown first on Commercia and then on Breeze, with nothing changed in between but the choice in a dropdown.
Commercia Theme

Breeze Theme

Fashion Theme

Adornments Theme

Design content belongs to the store that created it, so one merchant’s banners, sliders and promotional blocks never turn up in somebody else’s shop.
Multi-Tenant eCommerce Platform Notifications
Most people running a multi-tenant ecommerce platform use other software alongside the store: a CRM, an accounting package, a marketing list. Keeping those up to date usually means copying information across by hand.
The platform removes that chore. Whenever something important happens, the news is sent straight to whichever tool you nominate, within seconds.
Eleven Moments Worth Knowing About
You add the addresses you want notified under Settings > Webhooks, and each row shows its name, its address and how many events it is watching.

Eleven events are available, in three simple groups. Tick only the ones a given tool actually needs.
- Stores: a merchant registers a new store, a store finishes setup and can sell, its details change, or you remove a store from the platform.
- Subscriptions: a merchant starts a plan, upgrades, pauses or resumes it, cancels it, approaches the end of a trial, or lets a subscription expire.
- Billing: a payment succeeds, or a payment fails.

The module signs every message with a private key that only you and your receiving tool share. That way the tool can be certain the message really came from your platform, and not from someone pretending to be it.

You can send a harmless test message to any new address before relying on it, and replace that private key at any time.
A Delivery Log You Can Actually Read
Setting up a notification is easy; proving it arrived is the part most platforms skip. The new Webhook Deliveries screen records every message the platform has ever sent.
Each row names the destination, what happened, which store it concerned and how it went, marked as Delivered, Failed or Pending. Filters and search narrow the list to one kind of event or one store.

Opening a row shows exactly what was sent, exactly what came back, and a short summary of whether it succeeded, how many attempts it took and when the next one is due.

The module retries anything that fails automatically, up to five times, waiting a little longer before each attempt. A Retry Delivery button also lets you send it again yourself once you fix the other side, and old records clear themselves after a period you choose.
Knowing How the Business Is Doing
Two reporting screens sit at the top of the admin panel, and they answer different questions. The dashboard covers today; Insights covers the trend.
The Dashboard
Six figures sit across the top – total stores, active stores, active subscriptions, trials, total revenue and the amount still owed. Each revenue and store figure also shows how far it has moved since the previous period.
Below them, two live lists show the newest stores and the newest invoices with their payment status, and a date picker re-scopes the whole screen.

Insights and Platform Health
Insights is the newest screen in the platform, and the one we built for growth decisions rather than everyday admin work.
Four headline numbers track sales, orders, active stores and new signups over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, each with a small trend line and a comparison against the period before.
The module totals sales separately for each currency, so a platform selling in dollars and euros never mixes the two into one meaningless figure. It also leaves out cancelled and closed orders.

Beside the chart sits the Needs Attention panel. It points out stores that signed up more than a week ago and still have no products, which is the clearest early sign of a merchant about to give up.
At the bottom, the Leaderboard ranks every store by currency, sales, orders, average order value and customer count. One button downloads the same ranking as a file for your own reporting.
Managing the Stores on Your Platform
Spotting a struggling store only helps if you can act, and the platform puts every tenant action in one place.
The Store List
The Tenants screen is the operational heart of the module. Every row shows the owner, the business name, the web address, the current plan, the next due date and the signup date.
Two labels make the commercial picture obvious at a glance. A green Active label covers the account itself, while a second one says whether the shop is Live or Paywalled because no plan is running.

From the same menu you can register a store yourself, activate several accounts at once, and browse customers, products and orders across every shop on the platform.
Store Profiles and One-Click Login
Opening a store shows everything the platform knows about it on one page. The subscription card carries the plan name, its state, the monthly and yearly price, the expiry date and the next billing date.
Web address details sit directly underneath, along with a link straight into that merchant’s own admin panel. Counts of their products, categories and other catalog items follow below.

Two buttons sit at the top of that page. Assign attaches or changes a plan without asking the merchant to pay again, and the new Login As Tenant button opens their admin panel as if you were them.
That shortcut is deliberately tight. The link works once, expires after 60 seconds, and logs every use, so you always know which member of staff opened which store and when.
Your Landing Site and Branding
A multi-tenant ecommerce platform needs a shop window of its own, and the platform keeps everything that shapes how yours looks in one place.
An Editable Marketing Site
This release rebuilds the public site as nine editable content blocks. Each carries its own position and on-off switch, so hiding a section takes a single click and no design work.
The opening block puts a live name checker in front of visitors, so a prospect types the shop name they want and sees the address reserved before they even sign up.

Further down, the pricing block is drawn straight from the plans you sell. A price you change in the admin panel therefore appears on the public site immediately, together with the monthly and yearly toggle, any running offer and the premium design entitlement.

Separately, a CMS menu looks after pages such as terms, privacy and refund policy, each translated into every language you offer.
Everything Else in One Place
The Configure menu holds every platform-wide setting together, and this release moved the marketing site settings into it as well.

- Admin logo and icon: brand the panel your team works in every day.
- Marketing site logo, icon and look: brand the public site separately from the panel.
- Search engine details: control the title and description your marketing site shows in search results.
- Languages offered: pick which of the twenty-two supported languages your site offers.
- Default language: choose what a first-time visitor sees.
- Maintenance mode: take the site offline for visitors while your own team keeps working.
- Notification email address: set where platform emails should arrive.
- Social links: add Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to the site footer.
- Footer text: edit the wording shown across the marketing site.
Alongside it, Settings holds staff accounts, roles, currencies, exchange rates and an email composer, so running the platform day to day never needs a developer.
