Guide for Magento 2 Multi Vendor Notifications

Magento 2 Multi Vendor Notifications extension allows the admin, marketplace sellers, and customers to receive notifications regarding orders and product reviews.

A separate menu option is provided under the respective account panels to check the multi vendor notification for the orders and the product reviews.

Note: This extension is an add-on to the Magento 2 Multi Vendor Marketplace. So, you must have it first before making use of the Magento 2 Multi Vendor Notifications extension.

Check the video mentioned below for an overview of the extension:

• Admin will get order notifications (new / invoice/shipment/hold etc) for his product only.
• Seller will get order notifications (new / invoice/shipment/hold etc) for his product only.
• Customers will get order notifications (new / invoice/shipment/hold etc).
• Admin will get product review notifications for all products.
• Seller will get product review notifications when the customer writes a review and when approved by admin for his product only.
• Customer will get product review notifications when he/she writes review and when approved by admin.

Firstly, you need to log in to Webkul Store, go to My Account>My Purchased Products section, verify and then download and extract the contents of this zip folder on the system.

#Upload Folder

Once the module zip extracts, follow path src>app and then copy the app folder into the Magento 2 root directory on the server as shown below:

#3 Run Commands

You need to run the following commands:

• php bin/magento setup:upgrade
• php bin/magento setup:di:compile
• php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
• php bin/magento indexer:reindex
• php bin/magento cache:flush

For translating the module language, navigate through src/app/code/Webkul/MpNotifications/i18n and edit the en_US.csv file. Thereafter, rename the CSV as “en_SA.csv” and translate all right side content after the comma in the Arabic language. After editing the CSV, save it.

Now, upload it to the path src/app/code/Webkul/MpNotifications/i18n where the installation of Magento 2 is on the server. The module translates into the Arabic Language. It supports both RTL and LTR languages.

The user can edit the CSV like the image below.

After the successful installation of the extension, the admin will navigate through Stores->Configuration->Marketplace Notifications.

Here, the admin will –

• Enable or disable the marketplace notifications feature as required.

Lastly, Save the configuration settings by tapping the Save Config button.

After the successful installation of the extension, the admin will navigate through Marketplace Management->Notifications.

Here, the admin will find two sub-menu options –

Order Notifications –

Tapping on the Order notification menu option the below page appears.

Here, the admin can see all of the order-related notifications, like – New Order, Invoice Created, Shipment Created. Apart from that, the admin can see the status of the order notifications as read or unread. The admin can change the status as read in bulk for the respective notifications as well.

For an unread notification, the admin needs to open the respective order and after that, the respective notification will be marked as read.

To view the details of the order notification the admin for the respective notification can tap on the Order link provided under the actions column.

Product review Notifications –

Tapping the Product Review Notification menu option brings up the below page.

Here, the admin will be able to see all the product review notifications and their status. The admin can change the status of the product review notifications in bulk as well as required.

Apart from that, the admin can view the particular product review notification message by tapping the Review link under the actions column, and that brings up the below section.

Here, the admin can view the review, edit it, delete it, change the status and visibility, and save the changes for the review as required.

The sellers of the marketplace will find one account menu option with the name – Marketplace Notifications which displays the order and product review notifications under separate tabs.

Order Notification –

Tapping on the description option for the respective order details displays the order details page.

Product Review Notification –

If a customer has made a review on the seller’s product and when the review is approved by the admin then those notifications will get displayed here.

The customers of the marketplace will find one account menu option with the name – Notifications. Under this account menu option, the customer can see the order and product review notifications under separate tabs.

Order Notifications – The customer can see the order notifications like – New Order, Invoice Created, Shipment Created, and Pending Order as well.

After tapping the description option for a particular order notification, the order details will get displayed.

Product Review Notification – The customers can see the notifications regarding the product reviews that they have given for the products.

After tapping on the description option for a particular review, the customer can see the product page with their review if it’s approved by the admin.
