Magento Store Pickup

Its pretty easy you just need to move all folder (app, js, skin) into magento root that’s it.

After moving both the folder flush the cache from Magento admin module . Under system >  cache management.

And now your Store Pickup module has been installed.

After the successful installation of the Store Pickup module admin will able to see new menu “Store Pickup” as per screenshot.

As you can see there are three menus under Store Pickup , i am going to explain you every menu one by one:

1. Add/Manage Stores – This menu is responsible for adding Store details.

for adding new store click on “Add new Store”, a form opens:

You can also delete or change status of store.

Assigning Products to Store

The admin can assign products to the store by navigating through Store Pickup->Add/Manage Stores. Under Add/Manage Stores, the admin has to click on the store to which he wants to assign the products.

In the Assign Products section, the admin just has to select the products he wants to assign the particular store and then clicks on Save Item.

2. View Order – This menu is responsible for viewing the ordered item which choose shipping method “Store Pickup”

3. Settings – This menu is responsible for setting store pickup configuration.

Now Move to Customer Role:

Customer need to add product to cart

if the item is available in store then shipping method “store pickup” is shown.

now, customer proceed to payment. When Payment completed the customer receive secret key for each item which he need to product at the time of picking the item from store.

Now Move to Store Role:

For store login you need to click on store pickup at footer of page and enter the credentials as per screenshot.

When customer want to pick an item from store then store person need to enter order id of customer as per screenshot.

Now enter the key given by customer for security reasons.
