Download and install the Multivendor Marketplace App

The Multivendor Marketplace App from Shopify is the central component that allows many sellers to list their services and products on your platform. To begin, navigate to the Shopify App Store, search for and install the Multivendor Marketplace App.

Set up the App

To add a digital product, go to Multivendor Marketplace Seller Panel > Products > Product Listing > Add Product.

The administrator now has the flexibility to incorporate digital products as services within the Multi-vendor App. With this option, both you and your sellers can effortlessly create and sell digital products without the immediate need to upload digital files. Instead, the uploading of digital files can take place after an order for the digital product is successfully placed.

To initiate this feature, the admin should follow these steps:

  • Access the Configuration menu of the app.
  • Navigate to Product Configuration.
  • Activate the “ADD DIGITAL PRODUCT AS SERVICE” tab.

Upon activating this tab by the admin, the choice becomes visible in both the admin and seller’s Edit Product sections. When incorporating or modifying digital products, you have to activate the “ADD DIGITAL PRODUCT AS SERVICE” option. Choosing this option will deactivate the other features, such as file upload and the number of accessible days, for that specific digital product.

Once a customer completes an order, both the admin and the seller will have the opportunity to upload a digital file. Navigate to App > Orders > Order Listing > Edit Order > Upload the digital files. Subsequently, the customer will receive an email notification containing a link to download the digital file.
