How to setup multishop in PrestaShop 1.7

In this blog, we are going to learn how to create multiple stores by using PrestaShop. Multishop feature allows you to create stores as many as you want. These all stores will be associated with single backoffice. It is really simple which I’ll explain below.

In order to create multiple stores in PrestaShop follow these steps:

Firstly, We need to enable multishop inside Shop Parameters > General > Enable Multistore.


After this, We will see the multishop separate tab inside Advanced Parameters > Multistore. Check below image.


By clicking on multishop tab you need to create a shop group & shops. While creating new shop group we can set some configurations which explained below.

i) Share customers (enable/disable): If a customer registers in any one of these shops, the account will automatically be available in the others shops of this group.

ii) Share available quantities for sale (enable/disable): Share available quantities between shops of this particular group.

iii) Share orders (enable/disable): This way, any purchase started in one shop will be able to be completed in another shop from the same group.


After this, we need to create a shop & assign this shop inside this created group. Same as shown below:


After adding shop than we need to set the URL for this shop.


In conclusion, We can see that there is two separate stores is associated with single backoffice.
