    How to Add Product Listing in Shopware 5

    Introduction

    In this article, we are going to learn how to add product listings in Shopware 5. We will introduce an overview of the product listing and how to add filters and sorting in your Shopware 5 store.

    Shopware is a fully-featured solution competent for large enterprises, also the majority of their clients are small businesses which are the users of the solution that was originally built. Still today, 90% of Shopware websites are owned and run by SMEs.

    What is the Use of Product listing?

    Product Listing refers to importing and uploading your products on different marketplaces or on an online store.  Product listing is the product page for each of the items you sell on Shopware.

    It is made up of the information you enter when you list your product including its title, images, description, and price.

    How to add product listing in Shopware 5, but first manage product settings. These settings define how product lists will look in the front end. However, for that you have to navigate to Configuration > Basic settings > Frontend > Categories/lists.

    Now after clicking on Categories/lists it will be redirected to a new page. Then you have to enter the following details-

    • Items per page
    • Selection of items per page
    • Available listing layouts
    • Jump to detail if only one item is available
    • Move categories into batch mode
    • Always display the defined product preview image in list views
    • Default category sorting
    • Consider product minimum order quantity for the cheapest price calculation
    • Consider product graduation for the cheapest price calculation
    • Maximum number of items per page
    • Display the buy button in the listing
    • Manufacturer page product layout

    After that click on to Save button to save the details.

    Filter/Sorting

    After that, you can create new filters and sortings to enhance the user experience of your store. For that you have to navigate to Configuration > Basic settings > Frontend > Filter/sorting.

    Filter tab

    Click the button “Add attribute filter”, to create a new filter. After that to add a new filter you have to enter the below details –

    • Name
    • Active
    • Display in all categories
    • Select the free text field
    • Display mode
    • URL parameter
    • Template file

    After that click on to Save button to save the filter.

    Sortings tab

    Click the button “Add item”, to create a new sorting. After that to add a new sorting you have to enter the below details –

    • Name
    • Active
    • Display in all categories
    • Settings

    After that click on to Save button to save the sortings.

    Frontend

    After that on the frontend, you can execute the filter, doing that the products will be opened depending on your settings:
