    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘payment_thawani_checkout.’
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘payment_thawani_checkout.’
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

    1. Once installed, go to ‘Invoicing> Configuration> Payments> Payment Providers.’


    2. Locate ‘Thawani Checkout’ and open it by clicking on it.


    3. On the payment acquirer page, enter the ‘Public and Secret Key’ in the ‘Credentials’ tab.

    NOTE: For generating the public and secret keys, go through Thawani eCommerce API.


    4. In the ‘Configuration’ tab, select the ‘Supported Payment Icons and Payment Journal.’


    5. Enter the various messages for different scenarios from the ‘Messages’ tab. Once done, click the ‘Save’ icon and make the payment acquirer ‘Pubished’ by clicking the Unpublished option.



    6. On the Odoo website, add a product to the cart, and on the checkout page, you can see the Thewani Checkout Payment option. Select the Thawani option and click the ‘Pay Now’ button.


    7. On the payment page, enter the card number, expiry date, CVV, and Card holder’s name.


    8. Following the step after clicking Pay amount, you have to enter the OTP.


    9. After entering the OTP, the payment gateway will redirect you to the Odoo website and display the payment success/failure message.
