INSTALLATION 

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.

2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘royal_mail_proshipping_delivery_carrier’.

3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.

4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.

5. Then, open the Apps menu and click ‘Update Modules List.’

6. In the search bar, remove all the filters. Search ‘royal_mail_proshipping_delivery_carrier’.

7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

CONFIGURATION

1.  Under the Inventory module, Select ‘Shipping Methods’ under the Configuration tab.

2. Click on ‘New’ to create a new shipping method.

3. In the provider dropdown, select Royal Mail Proshipping. Configure the rest of the settings.

4. In ‘Destination Availability,’ add countries, states, and even zip prefixes. If left empty, the method can deliver to all countries, states, and zip prefixes.

5. Under the ‘Extra’ tab, can figure the Delivery Settings. Also, set up shipping information settings.

6. Under ‘Royal Mail Pro Shipping Credentials’, enter your Royal Mail Client ID and  Secret.

CREATING ORDER AND ADDING SHIPPING

1. Under the Sales Module, generate a Quotation and select ‘Add Shipping.’

2. From the Dropdown, select the Method configured before. Click on ‘Get Rate’ to generate the shipping cost and Add.

3.  Select ‘Update Shipping Cost’ to change the shipping upon adding products. Otherwise, confirm the quotation.

4. Select the ‘Delivery’ shortcut.

5. Update Done Quantity and select ‘Put in Pack.’

6. Select or Configure delivery package type. Also, input the shipment weight and dimensions. After that, click on ‘Save.’

7. Select the ‘Packages’ Shortcut.

8. Select the pack for Warehouse transfer.

9. Here, we can view all the products in the pack, their dimensions, weight, etc.

CREATING DELIVERY ORDER

1. To View Manifest, go to the Inventory module and select ‘Manifest’ from the Configuration Tab.

2. Select the auto-created manifest.

3. In the logs section, view the Manifest for Odoo Royal Mail Proshipping Delivery Carrier

4. After downloading, the sample of Manifest could look something like this.
